Political Correctness?

I didn't used to mind, and I don't mind if a friend of mine is clearly having a cheeky joke at my expense, but that's different. It does bother me that people are so casual about it, and it bothers me that it seems to be getting more acceptable instead of less so.
I know that my friends don't even think about the fact that I'm gay (even when making these jokes), which is both good and bad. And my classmates are nice and all, but at some point it stops being funny. In my opinion the gay-joke sense of humour in my class stopped being funny about three weeks ago, I'm afraid my classmates don't agree.

I have some lesbian friends and the amount of guys that have said to me something along the lines of 'i'll make em straight' or 'she'd change her mind if i fu**ed her', which shows not only homphobia(because as much as I love my friends, if they were straight, not many guys would be so desperate to have sex with them) but a lck of understanding on who these women are.
I will never understand this thing. Yeah yeah, one hot girl plus one hot girl equals.. Nah I don't get that kind of math. It hasn't happened to me "“ I rarely make friends with guys anyways "“ but to probably all of my gay friends...

See Epo, thats kinda the problem too.
You give a person an inch, they'll steal a mile.
As long as there is an audience for a joke it will be told, thats why 'Blonde' Jokes, 'Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman' jokes(which on the bare bones are negatively aimed at racial stereotype) and any other negative image ones ae still prevalent now even though they've been in the system of 'comical interpretation' for decades.
Lowest common denominator find them funny.

Yeah...
I mean this joke is just not funny.

One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. The proceeded to each buy a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage three flies landed in each of their pints, and were stuck in the thick head. The Englishman pushed his beer away from him in disgust. The Scotsman fished the offending fly out of his beer and continued drinking it as if nothing had happened. The Irishman too , picked the fly out of his drink, held it out over the beer and then started yelling "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!"

I always love the comment that preceeds alot of jokes...

I'm not racist but.....
I'm not homophobic but......
I'm not sexist but.....

The basic fact is, anyone who uses that 'but' is actually telling you that they are. No two ways about that. They may tolerate because they are forced to, but the moment they can exhibit their true feelings without fear of rebuttal, they will.

I tell you another one that I like, guys that can't be homophobic because they like Lesbians.

HA, they don't 'like' lesbians, they like the fantasy of Angelina Jolie and Sarah Michelle Gellar having a private finger buffet then asking the guy to join them.

Are you the SOAPM?

I'm racist, sexist and homophobic because I'm a straight white male!!!

Notice the three exclamation points??

One indicates I'm laughing, two notes the inclusion of sarcasm, and three tends to mean there is some irony thrown in.

You must remember that we are all equal!! It just happens that some of us are more equal than others!!!

There are many things that make me intolerant. Religion, stupidity, cricket, lack of understanding, gays...that overtly state their sexuality, cricket...
I really don't have a point. Everything passed the fly joke is just filler.

OH, I'LL BE YOUR MIRROR

run little rabbit

I bet you can't find the message I expertly wove into this post!!!
