Polls

When you start a new thread you get given the option to add a poll to it. You might want to do that if you were asking a question in your thread and you wanted an at-a-glance glimpse at what people had answered.
For example, you might want to know who is the members' favourite mod (btw - please don't do this 😉), so when you start your thread you would tick the 'Add poll' option and when you click to submit it you will get the 'add poll' dialogue, which will ask you what your poll question is, how many answer options you wish to provide and if it is a single or multi-choice answer.

To see polls in action - do a search for todays's posts or new posts and you can see which threads contain polls by virtue of the little bar chart icon on the left side of the list...there are loads of them scattered around the boards.

When you open a New Thread, below the box where you write, if you scroll down you have 'Additional Options'. One of those (second from the bottom) is to create a poll with the thread. There you can then tick 'Yes, post a poll with this thread', chose the number of options you wnt to have and then ubmit the thread.
