so, here i was whondering, is that really true of being popular, impopular in school? are cheerleads really evil beings? (LOL j/k)
i just wnat to know if where you are from are there the "cool, important and popular" groups, and then the freaks, geeks and the rest of people who want to pass undercover by highschool..
and what group do (or did) you belong?
 
Well we don't have cheerleaders in Scotland so that was never an issue. I always just stuck to my group, spoke to nearly everyone but my group were those that were in a band and did theatre and stuff. Although I did the theatre I was never musical so I would just read when they rehearsed. I used to hang out in the Business Studies department as the teachers were cool and would give me filter coffee instead of the dried instant rubbish you got from the vending machines.
 
We don't have cheerleaders also but of course people are divided in many categories(popular,nerds,muscle guys etc.)

Cheerleaders aren't evil...why does everybody think that?::crying:: *Kills her dog because it was bothering her*...we are good people! *Hits her mother because she is bored*...
Well,I'm...popular ::blush:: *Magui thinks 'I swear I'm not trying to sound arrogant'*...can't help it...I just can't be quiet and alone,I get bored!lol😛
But I'm also sorta geek...and freaky😛.I'm like Cordelia-Buffy-Willow all together...I'm an frecheergeek😛
 
Magui i'm shure you're a cool girl, being popular (or cheerleader lol) doesen't make you "evil" lol.
here i also don't have cheerleaders 😛 , but i have the popular guys and girls that everybody like (and that are actully nice to everybody), the popular guys and girls that in theyr front everybody loves them, but behind everybody hate them (the ones i use to call " the d*ck heads, *ssholes and b*ches!"), then they are the ones who passed by discretly, and the "geeks and freaks"..
i ussualy try to pass by discritly..but i have a litlle of "geek and freak" in me, but since my real friends are the impopular ones i don't really bother or care--
 
Up until recently, I've had a lot of friends, but now I'm in the popular crowd and everyone is my friend. However, I've let that get to my head and I've been a horrible person and I don't like who I've become. A lot of the people who I'm friends with screw up people's lives everyday and make people cry. Why do people wonder why someone brings guns into school? It's because of these people I've been handing push them towards that. I'm not saying that all popular people are evil, but the one's I've fallen in with are. I've been evil, but I've been "resouled" (LOL) and now I'm gunna try to make up for what I've done...staring with bringing down the people who's been messing with someone for so long.
 
lol...we dont have cheerleaders here,so it was never a problem for anyone,there are just a few groups within different classes,but not categories because evry group is different like there's my group,then theres The Slutty Up For Anything group (lol-they dont mind admitting it),the Stupid Immature Idiots Group -btw,theses are all names that my friends helped make up for the groups,The Maesteg Group -Maesteg is a place in South Wales and some people are really like...ugh...and they steal and stuff like that... there are loads more groups..but I dont think its important if you're popular or not as long as you're happy 🙂

I don't hate Cheerleaders Magui!

I think that some people when they get really popular it can go to thier heads and they can think thier better then everyone and treat other likes dirt...

...I know alot of people like that...and you can get some genuninley nice Cheerleaders *points to Magui*

I fit into the 'loner' group at school...although I wouldn't call me a loner
 
I guess I could qualify for freak or geek, I was like the most unpopular most friendless guy in my class... but everybody knew who I was and over time, it sort of earned me my credits... and people started to respect my being weird and unconventional... I was sort of beyond freak, I didn't fit in the system at all.

lol, i also fior a while hang with the wrong people..but i guess it was good to me, i learned that being with the popular guys, isn't that great.. i never made anybody cried, but i saw some people do that really..i guess it was my most lonelly time, that ironicly was when i was surronded by more people than ever..
luclkly i realize who my real friends were before i got into any real trouble..
 
Alot of the people say that im in a kinda popular crowd but i never thought i was. i was always everyones friend no matter color,race,or intellect. I like to think of myself as a kindhearted person. I have only three bestfriends. But i have alot of other friends just not best friends..in otherwords im not in a crowd i choose not to be because that means judging people before you know them and thats not how i am. So if u want to call me a loser ok you want to call me popular ok too but watever you do dont hurt my friends..
 
At my school its all about image....if we cant show it through style (since we all ware uniforms) we show it by atitude..........and money (fu**ing rich kids lol)
Im a cheerleader and Im not evil (well to most kids) but there are some snobby *****es in my squad (but since im the captain the keep there little prissy lips closed)
I guess Im in the popular group cuz I only chose to talk to those that have a high class at our school. Since its a boarding school and only 334 students I know everyone prety much. My 'Group' as you call it is full of athletes like cheerleaders, football players, b-ball players, hockey players....you know.....the jocks. And everyone in that group is feared and no one messes with us. But in a way its wrong but Im to low to say that to anyone. See my group writed crap about other people on the wall and always make fun of the kids that are over-weight or are geeky.....and Im alot like those kids that r made fun of (but I dont show it)...........were realy low and evil.......but I lay off ALOT!!
As for the money issue.........well everyone who attends our academy is pretty wealthy...or there parents are, so the kids that have doctor dads and moms are on top of the list, expecialy if there good looking and can play sports. Oh and cars are a big thing too......who ever drives a Escalade, Hummer, Beemer, Mazda, Porsche or any car that costs over 25 thousand is also on the list....and when you have a racing car (like I drive a Mazda Miata) you also get awsome marks.......its all about image and money at my school......................IT MAKES ME SICK!!!!!
 
I'm unpopular. I have friends and I don't like being alone, I just don't hang with the kind of people that are popular... we don't share any interests, really, and I don't play sports at all... I'm very weird and I believe most people are afraid of me 😉
 
We don't really have a popular group at my school... or maybe I'm just so far out of it I don't know that there is one... hmmm that is very possible.

Anyway... I'm one of those freaks you hear about called a DRAMA KID!! I'm happy where I am though. I like my friends. (Some a little too much *bangs head against wall* sorry... reflex...) Even if I was conscious of who the popular people are I don't think I would want to be part of that. I like being off in my own little world.
 
i was always unpopular, and it's my own fault, i made a lot of bad choices and was really stupid and immature(way past the limit of my age) it has left scars as the person i am today, ::disturb: but i learned to accept it, and now i'm a unique soul, and care less about being popular. 😉
 
We have our popular crowd, which itself is divided into the "cool, nice kids" and the "jerks". Cheerleaders are usually in the "jerks" section, but there's sometimes a few exceptions. Most of the athletes go into the "jerk" section. The Tennis team has it's own group. The majority of my friends play tennis, so I'm like an honorary member. They're usually on the fringes of the athletes, not much attention is payed to them (even though they go to State every year). Then there's the band kids. Usually considered to be part of the "dork" section, but I have a few friends in band, too. There's not really a drama/choir group, since most of them are part of the popular group. Then there's the rocker/emo/punk kids, generally nice people (I like them the best). Skaters - they're usually all high and mighty and hang out with the popular kids. And then there's the cowboys. I think that's probably the biggest group in our school. A lot of them mix in with the popular crowd. I get along with most of the popular kids, all the tennis people, most of the rocker/emo/punk kids...but not the cowboys. Can't stand them.
 
If Magui's a cheerleader they can't ALL be that bad...lol. No they aren't all that bad, some of them can be really nice...notice my use of SOME, not most...lol just kidding.

I've been called a drama kid before. I didn't do drama this year because they weren't giving freshmen actors any parts...meanies...
