popular?or not..

Way back in the stone age, when I was in high school, I didn't really have a group to fit into, even though there were many at my school. The biggest division was the money/nomoney and I defiinitely had nomoney! I played football, hockey, track and soccer, so I was accepted as a "jock". I played in the band, so I was one of them too. I was in drama club, so they were cool with me, and I was on student council, so I had power (mwahahahahaha!). While I was accepted by all, I was never embraced by any of them. That suited me fine. And when I met Mrs. D, she accepted and embraced me ::love::. So then, no one else really mattered!!

wow killerdwarf! you were really active in highschool! i'm only sorta in the students board commision, coz i know some people there so am like an "alternative member" since i don't actually work and i know always the scams they're doing.. also i didn't pay anything to enter in the prom room.. 😀
Cheerleaders aren't all evil... Magui and *Lost Angel* seemed cool so that proves that they are some good cheerleaders... we don't have cheerleaders and there are still some evil b*ches who think they are better than everybody...

I'm a proud theatre girl 🙂

I'm not popular, and i'm not un-popular...just inbetween 🙂

Yup. And I paid for it toward the end. Some of my closest friends arranged a trip to Florida during March Break in our senior year (football guys). I signed on, then backed out in favour of a trip to Greece with the rich nerdy kids...I guess my "eccentricity" with al the moving between the groups finally caught up with me, 'cause I was summarily shunned by the jocks after that. It was ok, it was only one term, then we graduated, and I had met the soon-to-be Mrs. D in October. It all worked out ok, but those guys still won't have much to do with me, even now! Popularity is overrated...unless you don't have it, and you want it, I guess!

I was neither part of the popular or unpopular crowd, I was part of what you would call the punk rock stoner group. We would always be smokin something during lunch and never really in class. We got along fine with the dorks and some of the popular kids. The only people we had problems with were the jocks who we'd have to beat down every couple of weeks because well, they were jackasses and they have a way of not keeping their smartass comments to themselves. So yeah, jocks are the real popular jerks in high school. Never had any problem with cheerleaders though.

In high school was the always studying but not considered a nerd since I'm hot lol. Why is it that pretty people aren't called nerds even if they are?
But, really I had friends but wasn't part of any of the major groups and didn't go out and party with anyone. I had a few boys crush on me in high school, but didn't respond to any of them since I wasn't out yet. I guess everyone thought I was incredibly serious and kind of scary in a nice sort of way.

I have a closer friend group in college, but I'm still the girl studying on Saturday night even though her friends are having a party. lol.

i was a geek untill the 10th gread, i mean really geek, i was always with my geek friends, having good grades etc... but then my group all changed, we started to dress better, to put gel in the hair, and we are not so ugly, because we're are all dating the popular/pretty girls in the school. but now, i've broke up with the girl, i hardly talk to my former friends, and i left the football team (you could say i was a jock) and now i'm sorta in the freaks group (the hardcore/metallica guys, who were that bands t-shirts and black clothes) so i was impopular, popuplar and now unpopular again. but i'm happy now, when i was hanging out with the jocks and the girls who always are in the games, i was such an @sshole and dum@ss... i guess i never made anyone cry, but i was a real jerk and now as someone said here i "found my soul again" 😀
