Popular things that you've never watched/read

Friday Night Lights. My stepmom,stepbro and my dad love this show. I watched the pilot twice, unable to get past the pilot. Twice, I couldn't finish the pilot. So I gave up. So I guess I can say...I watched it...but not really.lol

I tried to watch the pilot but it was too boring
I watch way too much, sadly don't read much anymore so there's mostly things I haven't read. The list would be too long and I'd still forget at least 80% so I won't even bother.

When it comes to things I haven't watched I add some things I think I should have watched but never got around too. Sopranos, The shield, Band of brothers, The Wire, Six feet under, the Alien movies and probably much more but these came to mind right now.

When it comes to music I don't keep up the way I once did so there's loads and loads I haven't listened to. That goes into the "popular" (not only pop 😉) music category.

Add tactics to the game and it's chess with humans on grass. With a different way to win of course. 😉 Just not as predicable since for some strange reason humans do not always do what you want them to. Still so many, many points to the game. 😀 It's really not as random as it seem even if it can't be denied that there's more than enough.

My jaw is on the floor at people never seeing Star Wars or Star Trek!

Me: I've never read a Harry Potter book, only seen bits & pieces of the movies. Never read a Twilight book (although unfortunately I have seen some of the 1st movie).
I've never watched:
Lost (well, a few eps here & there)

If you're on about the Cameron one, I totally get you. I can't see what all the hype is about. BRILLIANT graphics yes, but the plotline and all that was just ultra predictable :| My friend has this theory that he sold his soul to the devil for Titanic & Avatar 😛

Myself, I've never watched anything like Big Brother or The X Factor.They're just not my cup of tea at all. Infact I watched the first 10 mins of the X Factor in one of my TV lectures, and it gave me a headache. What was with the effects like every five seconds? Ewww. I don't like soaps either. But I'm firmly a fantasy/sci-fi etc kinda girl, not into reality TV at all. I get too much of reality, I don't wanna watch other people in it, thank you!

Thank you! When the the Avatar movie was about to come out, I thought "Cool! They're making a movie of Airbender: The Last Avatar, I love that show!". Then it was something totally different, I was like "What?!" I've only seen part of that movie, and I have not seen The Last Airbender at all, although I fully intend to. I think I like the show more than my kids do LOL!

I thought that too. Oh, and about the movie. I heard it wasn't very good. But I love tons of movies that most people hate, so you might still enjoy it 😀

My dad made me watch Caddyshack a year ago saying that it would help me out in my dating life (because apparently, guys love a girl who can quote Caddyshack). Aaaaanyway, I didn't really enjoy it all that much. I mean, the only good and funny part was Bill Murray! I love that guy! XD

Until recently, I had never watched Star Wars and was proud of it!

Otherwise, I've never seen Avatar (I kind of boycott it because it's like the most expansive movie ever made, and all of that for special effects).
I've never seen Moulin Rouge.
I've never seen TITANIC!
I've never watched Bones, or the Mentalist, or Dexter, or OTH, or the OC!

I have this sort of thing where I CAN'T do or like what others do. I hate things just because everybody loves them, doesn't matter if it's good or bad.
Like Avatar, Glee, Twilight, Harry Potter, and probably more. I just refuse seeing or reading or loving them just because everybody does. But that's me.

The list could go on and on about the popular things I've never read. Movie-wise, ummm... Well, I've never finished Dirty Harry... and before last week, I had never seen The Big Bang Theory.

No I did actually! I didn't think I'd like Sheldon, but he's actually pretty funny. Of course, Leonard is my favorite 😀

I wish I could say I had never read Twilight, but I did over Christmas, when I was laid low with food poisoning. What a truly horrific piece of "writing". I haven't watched any of the movies though, and I intend to keep it that way.

I've never watched Star Trek or Star Wars (well ok, I saw the first two of the newer ones and I know they're considered the bad ones, but frankly, I just don't see the appeal). I've also never seen The Godfather or any of Scorsese's old movies and for the love of God, I think The Sopranos is the Most. Boring. Show. Ever.

My ignorance is out there now.
