Possible downtime: our host is getting a new server

The wonderful host of BB is switching to a new server (apparently before the old one dies lol). So when this happens there probably will be down time.

I'm not sure exactly when the move will take place, but if I know for sure I will post again 🙂

Its not closing, it just means that it will be offline for perhaps a day or two at the most and then it will be back up on the new server 🙂

Right - it will just be down while he physically moves the files - there isn't a problem or anything like that 🙂

To answer both questions, everything will look the same as it does today (with the exception of new threads as they are posted of course)

And you will not need to re-register. As Buffy said, he is basically moving all the files from one server to a new one.

There is currently no plans to add any new sections, however keep a look out for them in the future 🙂

The reason we are moving servers is because our host is moving to a new one and therefore the site is moving with the host.

In simple terms, he currently keeps all the site's files on one computer, but he will be moving them to another computer. And the site obviously can't function while the files are being moved.
