Possible Spoiler Regarding SPIKE's transfer on ANGEL!!

oh I just read this like 5 mins ago on another board, I think it sounds cool but it doesnt sound like Joss, that just seems a petty way to bring back Spike and make him special agian, and something I noticed is that Buffy and Spike touched after the spell was complete not during so he wouldnt be able to get slayer powers since the spell was already done
 
I personally think that this would be a great way to introduce Spike on Angel. But as Herc said, it might be totally faked. Howeverm if it is i have to agree that the script version of it is the best fanfic i have ever read.

If you can try and get hold of it.
 
That would be very strange. But that still does not explain how Spike got back to life. And if this is to be believed and is true, then I was somewhat right about the amulet having to do with Spike's coming back, hehe. However I still wanna know just how Spike went from burnt dust in the hellmouth to whole human in the Wolfram and Hart White Room. Hopefully that answer will be captivating?
 
A male slayer.....urgh,that would so suck, they should just make it so he never died and hes still a vampire. I dont like that idea.......it's stpid.

I like the idea. I'm not entirely sure that Spike will actually be a slayer, but it makes sense to use the Shanshu prophecy and make him human. Still Spike should keep some mystical powers, otherwise he's too much like the other characters.

Maybe they should leave this until episode 2, but still.

I don't agree with all the people in the forums who say that a male slayer is going against all that BtVS stood for. It was never really about girl power, it was more about challenging expectations. Making Spike into a human or bringing him back as a vampire is what the viewers would expect. I like this plan.
 
Gotta say, I love this idea! I seem to vaguely recall some debate about the idea of a male slayer a few years ago, but it would never have worked until now. Even if it does turn out to be fake, I still think it's the best solution to Spike's resurrection yet.

I was hoping I would get the chance to post this, but my thanks to those who got this item on the board.

Qualifying that this IS only speculation at this point...
I think this plot element gets Spike's addition to AtS pulled off quite well. Spike's edgier personality will return as he assumes these new duties, and we should see some great ongoing conflict between him and Angel. I like his staying super-powered, but do have a small problem is him "needing" the amulet (maybe they'll find a way to make it part of him).

I can picture it now... "Well look at this... I can step into the sunlight, I can step out of the sunlight... I can step INTO the sunlight, I can step OUT of the sunlght!..."

OOH! OOH! And now what happens when crazy-ex-girlfriend-still-evil-vampire Drusilla shows up?!

This is gonna get GOOD!
 
Yeah, that would be cool to see. Drusilla lurking in the shadows, something catches her eye. SPIKE! In the sunlight? Maybe she'd think he would have the Gem of Amarra. (If only Angel hadn't smashed it with that darned brick....) I liked when Angel had that ring, it was nice to see him in the sunlight. Oh well. Maybe if this is what becomes of Spike, and Dru does resurface, maybe she'd react the same way Darla did to Angel when he was first cursed with his soul. She started hitting him and shouted "Dirty soul!" or something like that. Only Dru is crazier, and I like that quality, 🙂
 
This all sounds verrry interresting.
I'm just glad Spike is coming back no matter how it's done!

Since Joss has gotten so good at reserecting people
i'm sure he'll think of something that will fit in flawlessly
and won't leave too much room for questioning.
 
This script sounds really cool, however everyone here needs to check out the post by BigDaddyAngelus labeled "clarification."

It states that there is no script as of yet for the s5 premier which will be written and directed by Joss.
 
I dunno but, i think after reading that speculation thing posted on aint it cool news... i think well its kinda corny... spike dying if the necklace comes off? I think it will tick alot of people off if spike were to come back human... he hasn't earned that yet. I love spike, but hes got awhile before that happens.. and i doubt what it says in the spoiler will happen because joss said in an interivew on tv guide.com like a week ago that hes not even sure how they'll bring spike back.. they have to decide that.

I think it sounds neat...

except for the whole needing the amulet to survive.

Spike totally deserves to be human. More than anybody else. He saved the world by annihalating ubies galore. Very heroic in my eyes. He's a champion who deserves to be humna.

Not sure about the whole male slayer thing though. Just a little too much maybe
 
I don't quite know about the whole 1st male slayer thing, sounds kind of not to be rude but "dumb". You have all the female potentials as slayers now, why have a male one also?
