Possible Sprusilla Reunion

Well, I've seen the Interview for Brian Lynch's new Spike series, and it's canon by the way, it looks like Spike and Drusilla are gonna be reunited at last. The Sprusilla shipper in me is jumping up and down in excitement. So what do you guys think of a Sprusilla reunion? How do you guys think it would turn out?

Oh and by the way, I strongly believe Dru and Spike are soulmates, just wanna make that clear
 
If anything, Spike and Dru are soulless mates, but I can see your point. Dru is a very large part of Spike's development and growth as a vampire, as well as undoubtedly his first actual love, at least from his point of view.

And I also believe that Dru will be the one who shows up in Spike's upcoming miniseries. In fact, if what we have heard hinted at actually does happen, I believe that it will be due to her machinations. She's crazy, not stupid, and that would be something that she would definitely do.

(On the other hand, Willow has had some experience along those lines as well. Maybe they double team Spike. That would be unique)
 
Just realized the term soulmates was kind of ironic because they both had no soul while they were together and Willow's role should be interesting. I hope the Spike mini series turns into an actual ongoing series I'm a huge Spike/James Marsters fan for the most part.

Yeah, I would love to see a full grown Spike series, too, but I would rather see it at Dark Horse. They have (to me at least) better writers and artists, plus, of course, it would make crossovers with Buffy much easier.
 
Yeah, DarkHorse does have better writers than IDW, and I'm not a fan of the Angel IDW line, use to, but it's not as good anymore. Ever since Brian Lynch left after #17. And I would like to see more Buffy crossovers, if they're better written that is.
 
Well I would love to see them together again but I don't know, it'd be kind of bittersweet... it's not like they can be like they were again.
But even so - I adore the characters and seeing them interact in any way would be a joy.
 
Don't get me wrong I like Spuffy (Wouldn't sign up though because I wouldn't feel comfortable) but I like Sprusilla far better. Dru and Spike had a history, they remind me of Dangel in so many ways and their relationship just felt so natural to me. I'm so excited to see more interaction between them.
 
If Spike and Dru are actually reunited, I think that Spike would be protective of her, but no longer have any real romantic feelings, which could, once more, lead to that "development" that has been hinted at if Dru gets jealous and wants "her Willie" back.
 
Always like what you have to say WA, well most of the time. And Sprusilla can never be the relationship it was before and I think if it does return it will be a completely different relationship then what we saw on screen which could make for a very good story
