Do you think it's possible to trade in children for cash somewhere? Seriously. My little brother has been talking non-stop since he woke up this morning and he just never zips it. I mean, hello, I'm trying to study here.

Have you got any annoying siblings you'd like to scold at? Do tell and take my mind off things. 😀

Oh and btw; am I really blind or is there no Anya icon? Wanted to use one for this thread.

Maybe in some 3rd war country...

I have an older sister. She's kind of annoying, but I like her well enough. I lecture her a lot... Which she hates. 😛

You're not blind, there isn't one. Unless I'm also blind. 😉

LOL Lu, you got her there. :D
Fun that you lecture her. 😀 I can understand her. Have an younger sister and I would loathe it if she started lecturing me.

Okay good. Then there's nothing wrong with my eyesight. Or maybe we're both blind.

We're all grown up now and I love both my sisters. When I was 10-18 years old I sure could think my little sister was very annoying though, as I'm sure my older sister thought about me. I don't know how many times I regret wanting a baby sister instead of a brother. I thoughts sisters would be much more kind and easy to handle. Shows how much I knew at age 6.😛 Since her muscles are very weak she had leg splints to support her as a child and since they were longer than her feet it hurt a whole lot (to put it lightly) when she kicked you. Which happened a lot. Not sure if that's the only reason my legs are pretty numb nowadays. I can't have been that awful of a brother to deserve that, right? Right!!?

Washburne: Yeah you'd think that of sisters, right? Often that's not true 😛 And I'm sure you weren't that horrible. 😀
Visiongirl: Oh yeah that must be really tough sometimes. My aunt have three sons and I've heard her complain once or twice. 🙂

I have one older sister, 7 years difference, so there was definitely a lot of fighting when we were younger. The good news was that she was 18 and got to move out of the house around the time I was 11, so we had some time apart before we started living in the same house again. After that, we didn't fight as much any more. Now, I'm 19, and she's going to be 27 later this year, we get along really well, in fact, we've never been closer.

Fighting is very common between siblings. For my sister and I, all we needed was to grow up. When you guys are older, things between you could get a lot better, and you'll love having a younger brother. 🙂

Well when I was in high school, I hated my sisters with a fiery passion lol I always used to say they were adopted.

Now though, we are all in college and I guess we appreciate each other a lot more than we used to. They are always there for me when I need them and I try to be there for them just as much.

Unfortunately yes. All over the world.

There are some couples who are so desparate and can't have kids of their own so they buy children.. which is against the law.

And in some 3rd world countries there are families who do sell their children for money.

Oh god, don't even get me started on siblings!
:|
I'm okay with my eldest sister (on some occasions)
but oh god, they can be real bitchy to me. So much that i feel like moving out of here. Sometimes i cannot handle having sisters. haha

If you find any way to do that, let me know... I have two kids of my own that I have wanted to trade in for cash a few times. LOL

Proud only child here! I absolutely loved it.

I'm definitely only having one child, I think it's character building to learn at a younger age to talk to adults like I did.

I was lucky though because my dad was a huge, annoying tease. Probably worse then having a brother because he had so much practise at being annoying! I was definitely able to build up my tolerance from dealing with it, which is the only good thing about having siblings!

The following conversation took place in my living room today. My two kids had two friends over, and their mother had just come to pick up all four. ( 😀 !) I don't know how the topic came up, but suddenly the mother said to the six-year-old: "We don't buy and sell people, you know." The reply came promptly: "You can buy children. Liza did. She couldn't have any of her own, so she bought one."

:cool2:

I love my sisters. One is 11 years older who Im closest to now, but thats probably cos the younger one is in Europe somewhere. I couldnt imagine growing up with out them.

My little sister goes through phases of hating me but then she has phases of being an adult and being nice too. I just go with the flow with her, theres not much else I can do. Its frustrating not knowing when Im in the good books or not but since she doesnt live here I dont get to see her that much anyway, and when she is nice its a treat! Im sure she'd love to sell me off somewhere sometimes.
