I was on at midnight today and the whole site was down. For those who had managed to get through, the site remain unchanged which led me to think that, no, it wasn't open at midnight.

From what I've read, the time that it will be opening will vary day to day to ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to enter but there doesn't appear to be any indication of what those times will be.
 
I'm annoyed as I managed to get on and register early but I didn't receive a confirmation email. I can't see anything on the site to say "re-send me my registration e-mail" either. 🙁

I found The Magical Quill and submitted my details to Pottermore, but I haven't received a registration validation email. Where is it?
If you entered your email address correctly, you should receive your registration validation email quickly "“ and almost always within a day. When this arrives, you must click on the link in the email to complete the registration process. If you did enter your address correctly and still haven't received anything, it may be that your email provider is still processing your email.
 
[MENTION=8100]xaphania[/MENTION] - it took a while for mine to come in. Check your spam filter, too. Mine showed up a few hours after I registered. I think the site was overwhelmed.

That sucks. msfantastico87 said the same thing.

I just signed back in to my Pottermore account and it says I will be on those who gets early access, something I must have missed earlier. I hope the rest of you get in too so we can all be excited!

Me too! I hope I get in while I'm still on school holidays so that I can spend all day on it and not feel guilty about abandoning lesson plans!

Did you get the message when you first validated your account? I can't work out if I just didn't read it earlier or if it changed?!

It changed - it didn't say that before. They are only letting 1million people in early, so I bet they had to wait and see how many registered to determine how many would actually get to enter early.

Do we know anything about it yet? All I know is that there will be ebooks and extra scenes, but some people are thinking it'll be an MMORPG of some sort.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bit of both. All I know for sure is that as you work your way through the story there are "moments", as Rowling has termed them, with more info.

Ah, I see. I didn't think it said it at first. I might keep going back to check to make sure it says the same thing! Haha 😛

I had to wait a few minutes but the longer you take the register the long it's going to take to get your email. I registered for my sister and Jane (Tillow4ever) and I went to sleep while waiting for their emails. They got them though.

Now we all have to wait for a Welcome email that could take a few weeks.
 
My email came in earlier today. Like an hour or two after I did the quill thing, but I was already asleep by then, so I clicked onto it at like 2 something this afternoon and registered.
