do you lift weights or power lift...tell us some funny shiz that happened in the jim....

i do with my gym class, and do it once in a while on the weekends, one time i was lifting weights with my legs, about 250 lbs and when i was done i put the weights back on the holding thing and my friend came over and let it go on me and nearly crushed me, luckily my legs were a bit flexible so i had enough room to get out, i nearly killed him for that 😎

haha...i would've punked anyone up who falks around with heavy weights...

what leg lift was it??or if you don't know the name describe the motion...

hhahahah...i remember when i use to lift at high school...during girls cross country season...ohh...those were the days....days in which the mirrors on the wall were indespensible tools for viewing the female form...

lol, it was the one where you lay on your back and lift the weights with your legs

ahhh...leg press....the bane of my existence....

leg press falked my back up...keep your back on the floor...or else you'll be sorry....

right now...my regiment is incline bench...pullups with weights...and curls for the girls...i get my legs from my stationary bike with the brakes on maximum...

I used to lift alot about 5 years ago, but hadn't done any since until two weeks ago. Just got a shiney new Gym membership. I'm still working my muscles back into rebuilding faster than every 3-4 days. 🙂

I used to do it all wrong though. I used to do reverse pyramid curls until I couldn't move my arms for fear of the pain; if I could get them to move at all. I have since learned that's overkill and doesn't really help hehe. It will be cool to see what I can do now that I have a better idea of what to do. It was pretty funny though, I'd be walking around with my arms hanging limply at my sides for the rest of the day, like they were stapled on at the shoulder.

lifting is a funny thing....working harder usually falks up recovery of muscles...but doing the minimum amount of work usually works the best...

for example...when i use to bench...i would only need 2 heavy sets for a session...Monday-Friday-Wednesday...i made some great gains then...

I don't go to the gym.........I lift at home in front of a full-length mirror.........Naked.......The sweat glistening on my taut muscles, pumping, pumping, pumping away.........

It's amazing how much mass you can lose in 5 years, I'm down about 15 pounds, and I prolly have an extra 5% body fat to boot...

my friend...the strongest lb for lb person i've ever met (he cleaned 250, benched 275, and leg pressed like 550...amazing...he also could EASILY run under a 6 minute mile) ...stopped power lifting after high school...

at his prime...my size right now...175 all muscle...like 2% fat wouldn't be an embellishment

since he stopped lifting...155...still cut...but lost choke muscle...wasn't crazy thick anymore

he lost all of that weight cause he used choke supplements...everything but roids...creatine...chromium..myoplex...fat burner...thats only the stuff i remember...

i stopped lifting one time for a couple of months...for some reason i didn't change...either weight or cutness...either genetics...or because i didn't and still don't use supplements...

man...i think the hardest training to do on land is running with a weighted vest...its cardio and resistance at the same time...when i first bought the vest...i could barely move in it...now...hardly phases me...just gotta work on my time though...

i havent tried the weighted vest yet but i'll be sure to try it soon...

make sure your in good shape before you try it on...it'll completely destoy a couch potato...

well im in pretty good shape right now so i'll probobly try it when i get the chance...

and be sure your in this for the long haul...cause a 40 lb weighted vest will run you $100...

and do not run on the sidewalk with the vest...an ankle sprain with the extra weight will take a long time to heal...i sprained it new years eve....i'm still feeling it...best place to use it is on a track...
