Power of 3 or Buffy?

I just got onto another site where it was Charmed Vs. Buffy. And as annoying as this is getting I wanted to see if anyone had any opinions as to who would win a fight.


The 3 witches from Charmed or Buffy, Willow and Spike?

I say B/W/S. One guy posted away about how Phoebe knows martial arts and could win againts Buffy and Spike. I am thinking...dumb A** but she still just has normal girl strength, one kick or punch from the Buffinator and she would be shot across the room. Same with Spike.
His next arguement was that the three witches would be able to kill Willow. Is that guy forgetting the witches powers are limited? Willow is more powerful then them put together. Her powers are not limited to anything. I mean come on, could the 3 girls make all those potentials slayers, no, because...again, limited powers.
If the witches used their spell book then uh maybe, but no time for that. By the time they got thru saying a spell they would be teleported off a cliff somewhere. I just got that image in my head, graphic. 🙂


I want to know your views and I want reasons. I don't want just a..Buffy's side would win. I want a vs. description.
Hope this doesn't annoy anyone but I think it's time for a fresh thread that gets us thinking and debating again.

wow interesting,if it was Paige,Piper and Phoebe I am sure they would have some sort of game plan remember that Paige can orb and they can make themselves look like other people so the game plan may go like this:it would three standing on each side Piper opposite Buffy,Paige opposite Willow,and Phoebe opposite Spike.Piper would likely either freeze Buffy or blow her up.Can Willow orb?if not then Paige could orb behind her and kill her that way surprise her from behind .Phoebe could levitate and start kicking spike,then lets say there was a wooden pointy object Paige could orb it into Spike.

Don't forget...Willow's powers are way beyond the three's put together. By the time piper even began to freeze them or even Paige orb, Willow would have then out of there. Willow is wicked powerful. Buffy and Spike wouldn't even have to do anything, just Willow.
You will have to see in season 6 about Willow. I know you are not there yet so it is hard to imagine her power. Willow can teleport you anywhere as she did with Glory, but that was back when her powers were strong, but she still didn't have full grasp of them, not like she does now. I am not saying it wouldn't be wicked, but if it just came down to the magics of it all, I think Willow is all that is needed. And of course if it was no magic and all fighting, then Buffy and Spike would win again, hands down.

Silly, but fun eh? It would depend on who was writing it, wouldn't it? In my scenario it would last about 2 seconds with Willow snapping her fingers and sending them to the world of shrimp. (They'd be in the Buffyverse, so they wouldn't know their way out). Then Buffy and Willow would go for ice cream.

anyway...my first thought was that B-W-S would win easily because by season 7 Willow could do just about anything while the Charmed witches have rules to what they can do.

But then it hit me... it just takes a flick of the wrist for Piper to blow them all up.
Even if Willow COULD defend against that, would she be able to do it fast enough?

Yes she could because she could either just say a word or snap her fingers too. Willow is a fast one. I would be shocked if Willow couldn't get it done faster.

Honsetly i never understood these types of arguments because the Charmed ones would win in thier universe and Buffy would win in their universe. Another reason why i never understood this is because they both fight for good so yea they would probably help eachother as oppose to hurting one another. I can also see willow chatting it up with the Charmed ones exchanging spells and everything. In a realistic situation on even ground Willow is really powerful and could probably take them all on . The Charmed ones already have established first hand powers like Freezing leviatating and orbing. Anyother type of magic is used through a potion or a spell hich they have to recite from a piece of paper which takes time and resources they have to find. Willow could skin them all while theyre resaerching and what not. As for Spike i recall them saying witches magic doesnt work on vampires am i correct? so thats what i have to say for that . And as far as Buffy i think she could fasly vault a weapon at paige before orbing and she could defenitely kick Pheobe's ass. Leaving Piper the only one there and since the power of three is reduced to a solo her powers im assuming wouldnt be as strong so yeaa.. thats my two cents on it.

You know what the world needs? is a crossover, D&D style, role playing game where you get to play different heroes from different series, and meet different bads.

I doubt there is one you can buy, because you'd think copyright issues wouldn't make it commercially viable. A group of people would have to write it themselves open source. It would be funny. There would be all these arguments over stuff like how much power Willow gets, and whether it's Season 7 willow, or Season 8, and how much juice she gets in relation to the sisters from Charmed, and stuff like that. I'd like to be a fly on the wall to watch people create a game like that. :lmao:

that can't be true. witches magic must work on vampires, otherwise there's a continuity error right there. in season 2 "BBB" xander did his love spell and it affected drusilla. in season 3 "lover's walk" spike wanted to do a love spell on drusilla. in season 5 "the weight of the world" spike was talking to willow and said for her not to turn in him into a horned toad or anything (or something like that). and lest we forget... "tabula rasa"? that was an entire episode based around a forgetting spell, which affected spike as well. so witches magic can work on vampires.

so the charmed ones would be able to do a spell or use their powers on spike.

I could see how this would go...

The 6 would confront in an ally, Piper would freeze the Bufy cast, all 3 would freeze except for Willow who is two powerful for it.

She would then undo the spell on the other two, the sisters would realise their main prob would be the witch, so they bind her. So she has to fight them, she attacks Piper, while Buffy takes Paige and Phoebe takes spike.

Paige would just keep orbing around Buffy so she can't fight her. While Phoebe actually fights Spike, eventually Spike would get the upper hand, as he's allot stronger. He killls her and the power of 3 dies, unbinding Willow.

Willow, who had been basically cat fighting Piper, goes all black eyed and totally destroys Piper in seconds. Paige freaks and orbs away.

The 3 congratulate each other, Buffy complaines about not getting to hit anyone cuz paige wouldn't stp orbing around the place. Suddenly Paige orbs back in with a grown up chris and a kid Whyatt (Or however you spell his name). Paige starts orbing things at Buffy who deflects them, Then Whyatt like waves his hand and Spike turns to dust, he then urinates all over the dust pile...

Chris and Willow start magick batteling, eventually Willow over powers Chris and wins, while Buffy eventually gets to Paige and punchs her to a bloody pulp. But lets her take Whyatt home.

Then Angel comes in and him and Buffy make out.

The end.

that's a very interesting take Black Eye Guy. your version of what would happen between the 2 groups made me laugh. but i like how you had them bind willow, and then have it broken once one of the sisters died, since the power of 3 wouldn't be working anymore. and please, there's no way chris could ever have taken willow on. if the sister's couldn't, chris sure as hell wouldn't stand a chance. i don't know about wyatt though. he was a pretty powerful dude in the future if anyone watches the show as well and has seen the extent of his powers, because it's alot.

this also made me snicker too. it shouldn't, because spike gets dusted, but the fact that wyatt would pee on him... both funny and disgusting. i take it you're not really a big Charmed fan?? just because i watch the show, and wyatt's character never really would have done that...

Okay, so, I think that they would pretty much be evenly matched. I mean, Piper and Willow are the most powerful witches, Phoebe and Buffy are the martial arts ones, and Spike, remember, can hurt any humans. The Charmed Ones are still human. See? So having Spike in there wouldn't help at all. Paige could just dust him with one little "stake!" or whatever. It would almost be more beneficial to have Xander there.

One point for the Power of Three.

Now, Buffy has Slayer strength. Phoebe can levitate, but she's gotta come down some time. No competition there.

I'd say round two goes to Buffy.

The final pairing is Piper and Willow. Both incredibly powerful witches and women. Dark Willow almost ended the world (Grave), and Goddess Piper almost ended...San Francisco...(Oh My Goddess pt. 2). I would say that at the end of both seasons of Buffy and Charmed, they are both kinda even. I honestly have seen every episode of both shows, and am a HUGE fan of both, so I really can't chose between Piper and Willow. I love them both to death. So, in my scenario, Piper and Willow both fight until they can't fight anymore, and Tara and Leo come in as angels and make them stop fighting. Then they join forces and save the world together.

it all depends on which season spike we're using here. chipped spike or chipless spike with a soul? because in season 7 spike gets his chip out and has the ability of hurting humans again, he just doesn't because of his soul. so he WOULD be able to hurt paige. and any of the other sisters for that matter.

however, it is pretty simple for paige to still just orb a stake or piece of wood into him. but let's keep in mind do the charmed ones have the same idea of how to kill vampires as those in the buffyverse? i believe it differs. i don't remember the vampire episode from charmed very well, like how they killed them and everything (i think it was potions and piper blew a bunch up, and then to killthem all the vampire queen had to die) but not once did i see them use any wooden objects. (except maybe crosses? i dont remember if they did) but if that's the case, would paige even know to put something wooden through spike's heart? i mean, it seems like common knowledge to us, sure, but that's because we've watched buffy before and we have that mindset. paige may not.

Well if we're talking potions, then Willow is just going to deep fry the hell out of the Charmed ones before any throwing of bottles, or chanting of the power of three. Then Buffy & Spike pull out Marshmallows and cook them over their burning carcasses. And just to make if fun, they begin singing 100 bottles of beer on the wall while Willow dusts of her hands and cracks Kennedy in the jaw for being so...well, Kennedy 🙂

Even so, Spike is very fast, he could 'possibly' get out of the way or even grab it before it penetrates too far. You just never know. I think tho Willow would have them gone before any fighting would have to beging. Just think about season 6, all that power. Ok so she sucked it from the books but then, it was second nature. By season 7 she had harnessed all that magic and knew where she needed to pull it from, ie the earth. And she also took some from Kennedy and Anya, which means, she could use the witches power and drain them...ya, I like that idea.
