Spike (James Marsters) struggles to maintain his weak grip on reality as spectral forces threaten to send him to hell. He encounters ghostly apparitions, including an eighteenth-century serial-killer doctor. Meanwhile, Fred (Amy Acker) continues her quest to find a way of restoring Spike to his corporeal self.

Did you see that promo? "Partial nudity." Man, this is like a dream come true for all you Spike-lovers. 😛 It does look like a really intense episode, though. I can't wait!
 
Oh great. "Partial Nudity" better not mean I'll be staring at Spikes bare butt for an hour (I'm a guy so it does nothing for me). But the episode looks really freaky, should be good.
 
I hope/think that this trip to hell...will end up with Spike returning human/vampire. Originally I thought that he would be a ghost for the entire season...but then, after the first couple episodes, we see that he is getting pulled underneath...so obviously, my guess would be that it should all be fixed after he returns.

Woo hoo! A scary 'Angel' episode! Those are some of the best kinds of eps, plus walking corpses that aren't vampires always freaked me out. Partal nudity scenes... depends on who's doing 'em.

Okay that post sounded a little less straight than I had intended... 😀 I am not excited for the nudity, but recognize that it is a dream come true for some. It was just shocking... I agree more with Hostile_17; this looks like it will be a truly scary episode, and I hope it will not be interrupted by frequent shots of Spike's hindquarters. I want to be jumping out of my seat in fright, not the homophobic disgust that is expected of a guy when he sees another guy's "area." (I am not gay. Really, I swear...)

I have been waiting for an episode like this and the preview was a fregging jaw dropper! I am so excited to see what they do with this! It has so much promise...and hey...SPIKE NAKED!!! BONUS!!!

(Ok, so it's the MAIN attraction not so much just a bonus but my shame runs so much deeper for the admition that I will tape the episode and search frame per frame looking for the slightest error made in keeping the show 'tasteful'...and if I find it...I will have it printed onto a custom bedspread all my own...hehehe...)

Note to self: Showers...NOT cold enough...
 
Wouldn't it be crazy if Spike went evil or something?? Maybe not for good...but for a little while? I dunno...

Let me know how that works out! I am in definite need of some custom non-tasteful bed sheets. And a very large bucket to catch the drool.
 
i can't wait until this episode! It looks so good w/ al the ghosts and everything...and spike nudity.lol, it's going to be so great!, no, but it does really look good
 
The new season's been funches of bun to watch already. I look forward to Wednesdays now and I think it'll make Angel fans out of previously Buffy-only fans.

I hope that "Hellbound" is better than "Inside Out." Steven S. DeKnight is a good writer, but I didn't like "Inside Out" or maybe that's 'cause I didn't like the story arc.

This seems like a scary episode. I'm really looking forward to it.
