It looks like in the trailer though, that maybe they are fighting in present day? Because you can see the cup on the pedastol behind them and Spike has on his duster.

If they are indeed fighting in the present day I have a feeling that not a lot will happen. In all likelihood (partially because of the fact that Spike is barely able to come in physical contact with anything) the episode will be mostly flashbacks and the two will make up after a short period of present time has passed. For some reason I am imagining that there will be a present day baddy that they will team up against, probably because it was a choice between using the cup and stopping some evil plot. I am probably way off with the rest, but one thing that I am pretty sure of is that it is highly unlikely that the cup will actually be used by either of them. (How would Spike even use it?)
