When a popular children's show begins to steal the life forces of children by hypnotizing them, Angel (David Boreanaz) goes directly to the studio to uncover the evil doings. Upon entering the building, Angel triggers a spell that transforms him into a puppet. In a race against time, puppet-Angel and company must find a way to reverse the spell, save the lives of hundreds of children and return Angel to his normal vampire state. Meanwhile, Nina (guest star Jenny Mollen), the werewolf Angel befriended, returns to declare her romantic intentions, but puppet-Angel is too embarrassed to reciprocate.

Shades of "The Puppet Show." Not to mention Crank Yankers, with a werewolf too. Been a while since we've seen one of those. Dang, I'll be watching, that's for sure.

The summary in my TV Guide (or whatever it is called in my newspaper) only had the part about Nina confessing her love for Angel. I was hoping that they had decided at the last minute to throw out the puppet episode in lieu of the show's cancellation to make room for a more complete series finale. Guess not. 🙁 Either way, this is good news, because I am a Nina/Angel 'shipper. Am I the only one? 😀

this ep looks interesting and pretty funny! angel looks sooo weird as a puppet lol i cant wait

Puppet Angel is so cute and funny!

This episode is gonna be hilarious!

Randy: Nina/Angel doesn't sound bad,but if it is the last season all I can do is to support Bangel till the end....SARAH COME BACK!

I wish so too, but I'm reserving comment until after I watch it might be a really dark, serious, and important episode with a weird premise. Its more like a Buffy episode than an Angel episode though.

Whoever wrote this episode is either a genius, or completely insane. I won't be sure until I watch it. BTW, who did write this episode?

I agree Hitome..
~once again declares his strictly platonic love for her~
It does seem like something they would do with Buffy....and it really makes me think of a gimic....like something they would do with Charmed...now I like Charmed....but Angel is a totally different premise...
Out of Angel and Buffy, Angel was always the more serious show out of the two...and it seems like maybe since Buffy's been over...that Joss has been trying to compensate....

These may be the funniest pictures I've ever seen...

Buffy Summers, have you seen the previews of Puppet Angel and Spike wrestling on the floor?
That may have been one of the funniest Buffyverse things I've ever seen...

Spike is going to have so much fun with that...some might say too much fun!

I love the pic you posted of Angel and crew charging out...like they always do...the rest all looking serious...and you can tell Amy/Fred is looking down at the puppet going..."wtf?"

When I saw the trailer of that episode I started laughing and I couldn't stop. Angel makes an 'interesting' puppet. This episode is going to be hilarious. I can just picture all the cracks Spike is going to make.
