If you could choose ONE prejudice in this world to eliminate forevermore what would it be? Racism, sexism, Age discrimination...the list goes on...so tell me...what kind of prejudice makes your blood boil most? ::grrr::
 
I'd have to go with racism if I could only eliminate one - ideally they'd all go...
 
If i only had to go with one i think that i would have to say racism as well. I really hate racism!

I think ignorant people should be eliminated.

I agree with the most of you. I think that if racism was eliminated then everything would follow as well. You can be racist towards someones ethnicity, age, sexuality, orientation, etc. Getting away with that would pretty much destroy everything too.
 
I'm with Parker on getting all the ignorance, that'd get them all. But if I had to choose one it'd be racism.
 
For me, it's a real toss up between racism and religious descrimination, but because the two so often go hand in hand, I'll say racism. If we can get rid of that, the other predjudices would hopefully be soon to follow.
 
Yeah, hate in general would be a great thing to rid the world of...but racism is a good place to start. Hate crimes are spurred by all of these prejudice and it's ugly any which way you slice it. But I agree that we do tend to see way more in the way of racial prejudice than most anything these days.
 
I would say ignorance as well, because all the thing come from ppl's ignorance. If they wasn't ignorant, they wouldn't be racist, or sexist, or anything.
The ignorance frighten ppl & make them mean.
 
yup... has to be racism! I hate, Hate, HATE racism! ::fire:: Yup... it has to go! But in my own little world the only prejudice is against NEDS! ::evil2::
 
I have to disagree with those saying we should get rid of ignorant people. The actual definition of ignorant is lacking knowledge or experience, caused by or showing lack of of knowledge, unaware...I'm a very ignorant person myself. However, I do believe that there are those who have been educated, who are aware and still choose to discriminate-those are the ones that should be eliminated. Rayne, to answer your question I believe all should be eliminated but I think the worst is racism. Besides there really is only one race, the human race.

I wish all could be eliminated, but racism and ableism bother me the most, between the two I would pick to eliminate racism though.....
 
Racism...it's just bad all together. One time a few years ago I took tennis lessons and the whole class was asain but little white me. And yeah, I was like outcasted and called names by all but the coaches and the other girl there. It sucked.
 
racisim definately...it hurt sometimes when people give my family crap for being mixed in both ways (chinese and white) and also agains sex diferences. I hate it when I see boys hit girls.....I see it alot expecialy when we go to china or taiwan and it makes me mad. And also when people give gay people trouble.....that also makes me mad.
 
Notice, I just want to get rid of ignorance in general, not ignorant people. So you're ok with me Chasity 😉
