Preview before THE GIFT aired!

I remember seeing a promo that summed up the whole series and it aired before the THE GIFT. Me and my brother and some friends are finally watching this ep Sunday. I am gonna cry again!! LOL And I was wondering if anyone had a copy of the preview. Preferably in format that can be burnt to disc. It would be nice way for us to sum up the past five seasons as we move into the final two!!

I think that series montage trailer is at the beginning of th episode, but I could be wrong, I haven't seen it in some time. As far as crying, don't feel alone. I'm a hard hearted, cynical, world weary old man, but every time I see Spike sobbing there at the end, my vision just blurs up for some reason. Every single time.

It's not at the beginning of the episode I have on the CHOSEN COLLECTION. I heard its on a Season SEVEN DISC easter egg. Where the egg is I don't know.

Hmmm...Well, it's not on the Season 5 disc-set. I'm trying to think though, because I saw it somewhere else besides the original airing. Maybe on a re-run on FX? I can't remember, but it was for sure not on any disc I have.

Strange. I´m pretty sure it´s on my dvd. *runs to check* Yepp there it is. As for the easter egg:

Season 7 disc 6

1. Select Special features and press enter.
2. Go to featurettes and press enter.
3. Press left and a large B will appear, Press enter.
4. A quick montage (36 seconds!) of scenes mostly featuring heroes and villains from the series will be shown. Also known as "The gift montage".


But I´m sorry I don´t have the ability to get it to my computer for sharing. Hope someone else can help you.

I found it before the show. Thanks guys. This was a fun night. My bro and his boyfriend LOVED THE GIFT. We enjoyed THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE PLTRZ GLRB but THE GIFT pretty much won out. A M A Z I N G ep and my favorite non Musical episode of the entire series. 🙂

The easteregg isn´t on the same season as the episode so what´s a little plus. And it seems like it isn´t on all versions of the season 5 dvd´s either. Maybe someone complained and they the choose to have it as an easteregg? The "real" reason I have no idea.

They are on the original sets, but I'm guessing they would be on the "chosen collection" aswell. Here are what they are:

On the Season Six DVDs
On the second DVD from select the episode 'Once More With Feeling.' In the following screen go to the 'Language Selection' and there highlight the menu entry 'English for the hearing-impaired.' Now press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control and the Buffy 'B' will be highlighted giving you access to 3-minutes worth of footage from the soundtrack signing at Tower Records in Los Angeles. On the fifth disc select the episode 'Normal Again' and then go to the 'Language Selection.' Highlight 'English for the hearing-impaired' and then press the 'Left'. You will now see a sign saying that there is a 'Computer Download' available for the episode call sheet. Submitted by Maria Santos

On the 6th disk, under the "Featurettes" section of the Special features, press to the left and you will see a red "B" highlighted. Press enter to access "The Gift Montage".

This little clip is not on my disc as a 'previously on Buffy the Vampire Slayer" before The Gift. Perhaps it's only on the Chosen collection?

I know that I've seen it aired right before the episode somewhere (not when it originally aired, I missed the first 20 mins of it). It shows the little collection and then streamlines right into the camera going down the alley.

I do have it as an Easter egg though on the last disc of season seven. So, that's nice.

Ooh I do hope my DVD can play this as I've had some difficulty with getting the beginning of "Chosen" to play of my DVDs so I don't know if this Easter Egg is an issue as well.
