Spoiler! Preview Pages for Buffy #39

I just got back from the comics store, and they tell me that new comics will be out in North America on Thursday, December 2 next week instead of on Wednesday as usual. This is because the American distributor, Diamond, took last Friday as a holiday and are a day behind on their shipping.

Oh my god. Okay, I know this is only a difference of one day and all, but I know some of us have been waiting a LONG time for this issue. I'm definitely feeling rage-y right now. 😡
 
At first I though it was a week wait, but knowing it was just for a day it's no biggie.
 
Well that really sucks. I walk right by the comic book store on my way to the bus on Mondays and Wednesdays but not Tuesdays and Thursdays. Oh well, I'll just have to take the long way home. (*teehee* I totally didn't mean to do that)

ok, its rare then when people think they are witty they actually are.. but that was pretty damn witty there.. it made me smile and thats a damn hard feat.
Oh, that sucks. So, if the rest of the world is getting it on Wednesday, do we go ahead & discuss it on Wednesday (& those of us who don't have it yet can abstain if we don't want spoilers), or should we delay the discussion until Thursday. And I'm not an American who thinks the world should revolve around me LOL, so I don't care either way, just wondering what other people want to do. 🙂

If it is released across other parts of the world on Wednesday, I would personally expect discussion to start on Wednesday. I see no reason why it shouldn't.
 
Nobody in the world is getting it until Thursday. All the North American distribution goes through the same company; and countries overseas (like the U.K.) don't normally get new U.S. comics until Thursday anyway.
 
The rest of the world never gets American comics until Thursday (at the earliest). Only North America normally gets them on Wednesdays.
 
Buffyfest just tweeted that they have read the issue so expect a review up soonish.

From what I can gather they are real chummy with Scott Allie and DH in general.

I'm not positive but I think they are gonna do two posts, one non-spoiler and the other spoilerific. At least, that's what Twitter would lead you to believe.

I can't believe Scott or DH would be OK with them spoiling the issue before its sale date, whether it's behind a warning or not.

I mean, any spoilers they give out will be all over the Buffyverse within minutes anyway, so it's not like a spoiler warning on the post matters.

For just this one issue, I really wanted to go spoiler-free until I read the actual comic. I can't stay off the Internet for 2 or 3 days until then.

*Sigh* I really wish they wouldn't do that.
 
I'm guessing that their special relationship with DH and Scott Allie also implies that they won't spoil anything before the release date though. I don't follow their reviews often or anything so I'm not sure about this, but don't they usually release spoilery reviews after the release date?
