Heh, the series stopped making sense from Harmonic Divergence onward. 7 Seasons of Buffy, 5 Seasons of Angel, After the Fall, 4 Arcs of Buffy Season Eight, Fray, and no inexplicable plot holes. Predators & Prey treats us to:
1.) People embracing demons who eat them
2.) Ovary eating Dolls
3.) A militia capturing an Italian island with no retaliation from the military
4.) Giles forgetting the existence of two Watchers
With no plausible explanation. I fear they're going to use a "well LA knows Spike & Angel are Champions, so vampires are cool"-explanation, which will be the worst, most convoluted thing Joss has ever signed off on.

I wonder who Dawn's "woodland friends" are, that Xander is talking about. Maybe Dawn has been hanging out with those creatures from the end of ToYL?
Kind of odd how X goes from Dawn's disappearance being "no big" to "we have to rescue Dawn" in the space of two panels. Or did he just say it for the sake of the pop culture reference?
Could "Geppetto" there be the one who's responsible for Dawn's transformations?
