it won't make my fave list, but at least that PILE OF JUNK Adam is finally gone.

liked the spell sequence with Willow, Xander and Giles.


Zombie Prof. Walsh=Hella CREEPY.

Oh restless next! You gonna love restless🙂 primeval was pretty good i thought. Had to laugh at Spike, sucking up to the scoobies when he realized they had just killed Adam. Breaking that demons neck to save them. The Adam v Buffy fights one of the best bverse fight scenes ever.

As much as I dislike this episode (just kind of eh for me), I look forward to it because it means "Restless" is up next.

That said. Primeval was certainly not about the destruction of Adam, it was culmination of so many forces in S4 interacting. It was also the lead up to Restless. The Zombieness was creepy but was more of a plot device to excite some pretty interesting stuff between both Riley and other less meaningful characters. I love how Joss chose to end on the fireball season finale an episode early...it gave all the resolution of a season finale yet left an entire episode to explore the deeper aspects of buffy! Brilliant!

just finished watching Restless, really enjoyed it.

the Adam/Buffy fight was good, glad that she finally destroyed him.

I completely agree.... I had nightmares about Zombie Walsh. *shudders*

I loved the spell... Very cool and the effects were amazing. 😀 And YAY for killing Adam!
 
Somewhat unrelated, but I wanted to chime in on how much I love Buffy's eyes when she goes all, well, 'primeval' I guess. She looks extremely cool. Even though it could have been kind of stale or whatnot, it's too bad they didn't bring back uber-powerful Buffy.

cos in fact i actually quite like the season , i think it's cos i've watched season 4 twice this year.

i never use to like it.


anyways Primeval is brilliant, i remember the very first time watching it and literally going "WHOAAAA!"

My favorite part was when she waved her hand and the bullets turned to doves. That was freakin' kick-ass!!! 😀

It's definitely one of my favorite Buffy moments, and probably one of my favorite finale moments out of the show. 🙂

Yea, the whole ending was awesome. It wasn't as emotional as most of the seasons finales but Joss managed to make all the scenes stick together and bring a lot of thrill to it all. Like some peoples in this thread I really liked Uber Buffy :lmao::lmao: That turning a missile into birds moment, LOL! My only complain is that Adam overall was under used in season four, which to me is part of why he wasn't as interesting as he could have been.

Was a great idea to join all the Scoobies together like that though!

Honestly I think they knew they'd made a mistake with Adam and put him in as little as possible

I suspect the whole Adam storyline was something of a rush job. If I recall correctly, Walsh was originally supposed to be the villain of the season, but Lindsay Crouse chose to leave the show so they had to kill her off.

Anyway...Primeval was pretty good, but not great in my opinion (though the Adam vs. Buffy fight scene was awesome). And it does set up the brilliant Restless.
 
Primeval Buffy kicks ass!!! She really kicks Adam's monstrous ass!!! The bullets turning into doves and also the great fighting,faster reflexes and all that! Good for the Scoobies.I really love them in this episode!
