I'm a fan of Kennedy, and thought I make a PRO Kennedy thread only for talking about anything good about Kennedy.

only for talking about anything good about Kennedy.

I suppose I can't mention the Bay of Pigs invasion in this thread then.....

Well done.
To me Kennedy has two sides. The brat which is annoying but also the charming caring girl. Most people seem to concentrate on the first and I have no trouble to admit that there's things she do or say that I don't like. But guess what? The same goes for Buffy, Angel, Spike, Willow, Giles, Xander and so on too. So I'm concentrating more on the second side of her. And that I really like. She supports Willow and makes her happy. I'd like to know more about her, her upbringing and so on. She's interesting.

I'm a little in love with Kennedy. She's very much like the brat I used to play when my friend and I played make-believe when out trail-riding when we were young tween.

I'm one of the very few fans who really like Kennedy. She's the most interesting potential and now Slayer what with her different character traits, she might be a spoiled brat, but she's also a loving, brave and strong young woman.

Do you read season 8? 🙂

I like how Kennedy is so protective of Willow. She really loves her.

I love Kennedy in season 7 and I'm loving her in season 8. Especially when she gets all jealous after Buffy has the one night stand, and thinks shes going to go after Willow next.

Yes, I love her for that too. :)
Honestly? Kennedy on her own as a character doesn't bother me. I actually kinda like her, except that when she tried to step as a co-leader with Faith after Buffy left it kinda felt to me like she needed to check herself a little. I just didn't like how she became Willow's love interest so quickly. I mean, hell, Willow killed a guy over Tara and all of a sudden she's willing to date this chick? It seemed too fast. But if Kennedy had just been there as one of the Potentials and that was it, I could have accepted her a lot better.

I think the reason that so many people hate Kennedy is that they only had half a season with her. They had nearly 2 years with Tara. I didn't start liking Kennedy until S8, and I can see that Kennedy is an important, positive force in Willow's life now. Plus, hot lesbian sex. Now, when I go back and watch S7, I'm happy to see Kennedy show up. The Killer in Me is a great episode. Iyari Limon knocks it out of the park, and playing against Alyson Hannigan is a tall order. And did I mention hot lesbian sex?

Well, I don't really HATE Kennedy, but I find her pretty annoying most of the time. I don't like how arrogant and obnoxious she can be, but at the same time you can see how genuinely caring and brave she is. 😀 I don't hate Killow, it's kinda cute, I just love Tillow more, Killow is a bit rebound-y IMO. 😀

I'm also one of the few that liked Kennedy, although Killow did happen rather quickly. Guess the writers had to speed things up, since it was the final season.

Some of the other potentials grated my nerves though.

Kennedy is a obnoxious spoiled brat, but to me she is also a strong, brave girl ready for battle and didn't spend all of her time on season seven crying about how The First were gonna kill them all. I don't really like her but I have a ton of respect for her.

I was skeptical of Kennedy at first, especially with her spoiled-girl air, but as I went back and watched season seven, I realized she isn't so bad. She may be a bit of a rebound, but it's interesting to see Willow with someone who may be more confident that she is again. I liked the kite metaphor, eheh.

Kennedy may have been a brat, but at least she had spunk and drive ... she is was the only Potential that was actually worthy of her powers, I felt.

I'm not into the whole shipping thing, and was never a Tara fan, so I can't side with those who see Willow's relationship with Kennedy as a betrayal of Tara. Plus ... I was physically attracted to Kennedy in a way I wasn't to Tara, so whoever opined about "hot lesbian sex" probably has the right spirit of things.
