Production mistakes!

I'm sure this has been done before, but I figure it hasn't been for a long time. Are there any production bloopers that drive you insane? I can think of two. I think there is a microphone hanging on top of the screen in a forest scene of ep 1 season 6. Also in Show Down when the uber vamp knocks down the door, the string is shown in the shot before. It's soooo thick and black and obvious. I love that ep, but that scene drives me bonkers!

One thing that really is many many things that always bugs me are the stunt doubles, specially Angels during the sword fight at the end of s02. Buffys are sort of bad sometimes too.

I dont pay attention to stunt work if it keeps the actor actress save I can forgive and I dont thing I really pain that much attion to that

What bugs me are the ones tha can be cought if someone watched the dailys better camara 2 in the shot in the waiting room in The Body...ruins that moment.
Animal trainer visable in the shot where Buffy is being led by a guide in the desert.
Stuff like that

Being able to notice when a stunt double's being used drives me insane, especially in scenes like the big sword fight in "Becoming part 2" where Buffy's stunt double has different hair than her... WTF?

HisMrs how about that annoying as hell, noticeable stunt double in Ear shot that's supposed to stand in for the cafeteria lady when Buffy fights her

LOL Right?!
I try hard not to look to carefully when im watching BTVS, But whenever i do rewatches i see more and more 🙁
Silly things like stunt doubles and seeing actors mouth moving when no words are coming out and all that..i dont want to notice too much as it takes the 'magic' of the show away.
But im enjoying reading what you guys have noticed haha

I love finding Angel and Spike mirror reflections. I can remember seeing a very obvious shot with a camera in it on a few Angel episodes, and last night I noticed in the episode "Real Me" that Buffy places an empty milk carton in the sink (who does that?) on the left side, and then the very next shot it hopped to the right side lol.

Like Jod said though, the more rewatches I do, the more things like that I find. I am not looking for it, I just think you start to know every beat of every show and are able to pick it up easier.

Love seeing vamp-reflections. Worst one is in the Angel openign credits where you can actually see his reflection in the puddle suring the last shot...
You know, I don't really see too many of them. Sure, from time to time I can point out a few goofs, it's hard to think of them without seeing them in the moment, but I can't recall many noticeable moments when I see stunt doubles or things like that.

"Becoming Part 2" especially. Everyone notes that one for bad stuntmen, but I've never seen it to be honest. I watched the DVD interview with Joss for that episode and he said that Sarah and David did a lot of the sword fighting for that scene themselves.

Usually I don't notice the stunt doubles (I'm usually too engrossed in the story to really think about it and just accept what I see at face value). Though I do remember one time Buffy's stunt double was CLEARLY a man and I found it very distracting.

I don't think I've noticed any other mistakes. Little continuity errors with the sets is the only other thing. Like when they stopped filming Buffy's house inside a real house and built a replica set, a few things were different. Or in Giles' house, there was never a tiny little window beside the front door until an episode called for someone (I think Spike) to be looking through it and then suddenly there it was!

Lol, when did that happen? I've never noticed it before.

Jod, here's one you'll like, when Warren threatens to shoot Buffy, she is chatting with Xander, on the bench seat. If you do a frame by frame sweep of that scene you'll see one of the crew running behind the seat.

Also, if a closer look at the scene where Buffy comes out of Flutie's office, watch the mass of continuation errors.
Some people walk past several times.
Some people walk up and down the corridor a few times.
Some people appear out of nowhere.

Lol, when did that happen? I've never noticed it before.

Sadly I can't remember for sure, but I THINK it could have been when Buffy was fighting faith at the docks, season 3 was it? She was wearing leather pants. I could be totally wrong. Anyway, there is a shot of Buffy's stunt double from behind, and he is built nothing like Buffy. For a start he's got a big manly butt 😛
