Following the astounding response I received from Project Get Well Soon and Project Birthday and the success of other fansites for actors and actresses that have Birthday Projects Andy Hallett UK is proud to launch Project Xmas.
You're probably wondering what the point is and what the thinking was behind this latest project. I always send Christmas cards to my friends like I send Birthday cards and I presume people send them to celebrities as well. So, I thought why not be original and create a Project Xmas? Instead of Andy receiving a hundred individual cards and e-mails, instead he can receive one big virtual project like the previous two. I hope as the previous two projects have been successful and have received lots of support, this project will too. You may think a Christmas Project seems a little unusual and I hope it is, I don't ever remember seeing one at another fansite before so I hope I'm the first.
Like Project Get Well and Project Birthday you can leave your name, country, e-mail address, URL and message and it will automatically be added into a database and displayed on the messages page. The only information you *have* to submit is your Name and your Message. You can leave your message up until the 20th December and after that date I'm going to e-mail Andy's agent the link to the messages page, so he can read all of your messages. After the 20th December I shall take down the submission form so you won't be able to add anymore messages after that date. I've chosen the 20th December as the cut off date because I'm not sure any nearer Christmas Day his agent will be working and checking her e-mails. I will update this page as well as my main website if I hear back from Andy or his agent, so everyone will know if Andy's read their message.
You can put anything in your message to Andy, you can wish a Happy Christmas, a Happy New Year, you can wish him better health for 2005 or even write an poem or letter. Any messages are welcome especially after the difficult 2004 he's had.
