Proper watching order for Buffy/Angel? (for the love of god NO SPOILERS)

I found these two lists that don't exactly agree with one another. Is one of them more correct than the other, or are they both wrong and there's a more definitive list out there? I'm halfway through season three, and wanted to check I have the right running order. Jeez this website is not very newbie friendly though, spoilers in the forum descriptions like it's nothing.

EDIT: Uhhh apparently I can't even post the links to these lists. I don't really feel like posting 14 more times in case I get spoiled by one of these topics, so could someone just direct me to the best guide on the net for this?

I'm not sure if there is a definite order. PM me the links, and I'll post them here, so other members can help compare, but as far as I know, there's no "right" answer.

Buffyfest: The Buffy/Angel episode watching guide

I read the commentaries for this list, and I'm not sure they cared that much about the chronological order when tehy made it, but since only one person complained, and they later fixed the error, I would go with that one. It looks right at a first glance.

Buffyworld.com has an episode guide and it lists every episode. Beside each episode is the airing date and that's what I look at whenever I'm going on a rewatch and want to watch the shows side by side.

Hello sir! Before this last run-through I made myself a list of both shows, in order by air date. If you mean chronological (as in, what order are the episodes MEANT to be in) I can't help you. But if you give me your email I can sent you a Word 2007 file. 🙂 They're color-coded too!

Skytteflickan88 agrees: But don't you mess up the crossovers that way? For example with Five by Five, Sancturay and The Yoko Factor, which is the chronological order, but not the airing order(I think).

I don't think so. Everything seems to make sense when I'm watching them that way.

^Hey, I found one mistake. Well it's not really a mistake, possibly. Personally, when I do run-throughs, I like to read the Willow one-shot (and possibly Riley when it comes out, idk) along with the AtF: First Night. Because apparently, the one-shot happened pretty close to right after S7.

First Night happened way after season 7, there's an entire tv season in between. So why would you read it with the Willow one-shot (not that I'm sure whenever that happened either).

I read Willow with First Night because First Night is basically a collection of character stories. There's no over-arching story (well, besides the Betta George one), it's just like mini-one-shots. Also, the only thing we know about Willow, chronologically, is that it happened after S7 and before S8. To me, it only makes sense to read it with AtF.
