''Someone or something not on this list''...i don't think Lindsay and Eve will be the Big Bads,...but maybe they are bad,...i just don't think they are gonna be the Big Bads(i.e.Dru&Spike in btvs s2,..they were bad but the Big Bad of the season was Angelus)

It's possible there won't be a Big Bad in Season 5, just a bunch of Little-Big-Bads a la Buffy Season 6, where the biggest evil they face will be their own corruption.
If that turns out to be the case, let the question read, " or Who will be the biggest threat of the little-big-bads in Angel Season 5?".
It will be like, if someone forced you to pick the big bad of Buffy Season 6, you'd probably pick Darth Rosenberg, even though there was The Troika, and assorted Monsters of the Week.

Good point about multiple-little-big-bads, N4H. That's probably the way it's going to go.
But if there was an ultimate big bad for this season, I think it would be The Senior Partners. And furthermore, since I'm in a speculatin' kind of mood, I think it would ALSO be The Powers-That-Be. I think the Senior Partners and the Powers-That-Be are the same entity or entities, just yinging and yanging its and/or their way through the universe, endlessly tinkering both sides to maintain the balance.

Lindsey, just Lindsey, not Eve. Perhaps there's another partner, but he'll be the one squaring off against Angel at the end of this season!

I'm a S6 fan, so I'm hoping that the big struggle is internal to each of the characters. If that is the case, though, things are gonna have to go downhill in a hurry...Buffy was wrestling with her darkness from the third ep of S6, and the Angel bunch is paranoid, but they don't seem all that conflicted about their choices. Wes has shown his Achilles heel to be his inability to deal well with his father/father figures, but there has been little in the way of angst for the others...

I voted for the pig in the basement. He will have found his way through the sewer tunnels to the basaement of Wolfram and Hart and take over from the ground up. The ATS gang will be dfenseless to the pig's tyranny until the pig's arch nemesis arrives and of course that is a more skilled pig wrangling Andrew

I'm going to go with Spike. I'll illustrate the reasons I think this might be a possibility on the predictions thread, when I get a chance..
As for the First, well.. There's nothing saying the First can't be used. I mean, here we are after season 4, a season that used a God, much like Buffy's 5th season. The Big Bad concepts ARE recycled, on occasion. Additionally, the First always seemed much more concerned with 'The Vampire with a Soul' than the slayer, and although the concern re: spike was well-validated in the final episode, it's hardly wrapped up. The First tends to take the long view, and is still around, so why was it more concerned about Angel and Spike than the Slayer, who played an equal part in foiling it's plans? I think there is much more to be done with the First.
