Hey everyone!
As some of you have probably noticed by now, for the majority of you your post count will have gone down, for some by quite alot for others by just a small amount. This is because we have pruned (deleted) some of the older threads in the Sunnydale Cemetary where we temporarily store old and closed threads. Obviously we cannot keep storing them there forever, as we wouldn't have the space, so we have to prune the forum to keep enough space free. This will be done on a regular basis, leaving only threads from the last 30 days in the Sunnydale Cemetary at any one time, therefore every 30 days your post count will go down slightly
So, everyone's post count will go down, but in relative terms this still means that the post count will still be reflective of how you post (people who post more will still have the higher post counts, and those that post less will have fewer post counts).
It also means that by reducing the amount of space we're using by keeping the old threads, we are able to have more of an avatar choice, allow signatures, and in general use the space in a more productive way.
Afterall, at the end of the day we are all here to post and enjoy ourselves, and having the highest post count shouldn't really be a factor.
