I read the book once I found out that James was making the movies and I had really high expectations because John (that was his character's name right?) was a really great character and had the lynchpin scene in the whole story (with the main chick - where he explains to her that she is not the only one mourning her husband...) but then they cut that scene and changed the whole story and they cut down James role in the story and it was not great. Very disappointing

I actually like this movie really much, because of the concept but especially because of the ending... I like that we're surprised.
