PTC says Angel is the 6th worst TV show

Too bad for all those people. I have met so many people that are that way and all they do is go around blaming everything under the sun for their kids killing and drug abuse and so on. When if they would spend HALF that time taking responsability for thier lives and their kids they might not HAVE so many problems. I can't stand crap like that! If your a member of this age group they speak of you should already know right from wrong and if the parents are doing their jobs they do. And I'm sorry but sex of any kind is an inevitability...if they are gonna do it it ain't cause they did it on Angel! Teen=hormones. It ain't anything they don't think about 90% of the day anyway.
 
Well said Rayne!!! I'm 20 years old and I've watched Angel since I was 16 and I have yet to try to be a vampire, murder anyone, get into an actual fist fight, or get pregnant with a vampires child...so, not all things can be blamed on these shows 😀
 
These angry fat mothers are really pathetic(PTC people). If they could just get a damn life, it would be a great thing. If they don't like that show, fine, but just don't blackmail the sponsors of the show and work to get the show canceled.
If they would just praise God for the top 10 family show, it would be perfect, just don't sh*t about my shows.

Yup, we're all angered.

It is a bit stupid how they want all their shows to be fluffy and happy. When was the last time you watch a six year old watching Angel or CSI? Sexual references and the likes are bound to pop up, that or have celebate (spelling?) people wondering round which isnt gonna happen. Altho one thing, with Will and Grace I have seen the first four seasons (all thats been shown in the UK) and I think theres only been one gay kiss, yes jokes are jokes but most go over peoples heads.

Exactely, most of the jokes on Will & Grace can only be understand by people who "get it". I doubt that 6 years old kids get a subtle joke about oral sex or whatever. And why the hell would a 10 years old would watch W&G(I can understand it about Angel...) the jokes are way over their head. For Karen's kindness?!?!?
 
Plus these parents are setting a bad example. Clearly they watch these shows but dont allow their kids to. They will tell their kids not to, hence their kids will try and watch them
 
Yup. The worst thing you can do is shelter your kids too much. If you raise them right and with the right morals and teach them right and wrong they should be fine. If they aren't then ther are obviously deep underlying issues. I have never heard of anyone that went all crazy just because they watched a show or heard a song. Not to say they don't influence on some level but there has to be something there as a catalyst. I have watched horror movies since I was like 4 and I listen to hard rock and watch all the wierd shows and I have not yet claimed a victim or purchased the satanic bible or gotten into drugs. I couldn't believe that after Columbine 90% of what I heard was what music they listened to! It's rediculous!

The Columbine thing was ridiculous, especially where I live, cause I'm right next to Columbine. All the parents started going crazy about music, movies, and video games. Then our schools got really retarded and we had lock down drills like every day. They blamed it on The Matrix which made me mad. Like a movie's gonna make people kill. If they wanna place the blame anywhere, at least put it on their parents. They didn't know anything about their kids. People here are still hung up on it too. I have a few friends that went there, and there over it, but nobody else is!
 
It scares the SH*T out of me to know that one day I'll have to send my kids out into the world. That some nut is gonna hurt them or worse. But it is stupid to not take responsibility. It's so easy to point fingers. But when it comes down to it all you can do is what's best by your own kids and prey to God everyone else is doing the same. Then cross your fingers. And that's why I'm so afraid. Because I know not everyone is doing their jobs as parents.
 
the aftermath of columbine was stupid...parents should get involved with their children's life...teach them...then unleash them upon the world..not just live with them in silence cause you don't approve of their music or hair or other inconsequential shiz...lol...i used a big word...

lol...if csi is the worst tv show...i would love how they rate the shield...definately number 1...

man that site is crazy...they ranked smallville sixth best...falkin smallville has so much innuendo...falkin chloe sucking on a lollipop suggestively...lol
 
I hate it when the media blame a band if someone who kills themself does so while listening to that band. What if they wanted to go listening to their favourite song? And also when they mis-understand a song, like System Of A Down's 'Chop Suey', the media thinks its a big "lets kill ourselves". While there are cases where people have killed themselves due to a band, such as all the Kurt Cobain related suicides (although someone also killed themself due to the brake up of Take That).

I think if I ever meet someone who is absoultly determined to kill themself, no stopping them (and I will try) I'll ask them to play Britney Spears or something while they do. See if the media blame her.
 
These ppl in the whatever its called are stupid and have nothing better to do so they try to rip apart excellent shows like buffy angel and alias,the have no life lol
 
I think it's important to have our outlets. I would rather be able to sit back and watch a show that helps express things I know I may not be able to do myself but can through the shows, songs, movies, comics or books. If all I had to read or watch was 7th Heaven or See Spot Run or reruns of Full House I would probably wind up in a clock tower somewhere with a riffel. I don't know what I would do with out loud complaint rock and my twisted shows. They are my only salvation from the violent tendencies the morons in this world wake up in me.

Haha. Sometimes I want to kill myself when I listen to really bad music. Like Britney Spears... no offense to Britney fans, but I really hate her music.
 
the only song i like is the one where they all the dancers and brittney make a heart....

sometimes i run...sometimes i hide...sometimes i'm scared of you...i don't know why i like that song....gasm and pop don't mix...but that song is the exception...

I think every show on FX isnt going to me much liked by these guys, but yeah especially the Shield. Heck even the Orlando Jones show would be banned by these guys!

But in the end it is good to know that we have people like this running around, the differences between us in society is great, though I do think their hearts are in the right place I think their choice of who to blame is a little wacked out.
