Punisher War Zone

My step-dad is watching this movie at the moment and my head spun to the TV when I realised Julie Benz's voice was coming from it. Turns out she's in it. Anyone else seen it? It's weird seeing her as a brunette.

I enjoyed the movie (Punisher nerd), but I wish they would have had a more experienced director who took the movie a little more seriously than "Just another comic book movie" and some better actors (Dominic West's accent was atrocious).

I did think Ray Stevenson played Frank perfectly and a more "Max" based Punisher movie is/was a good idea.

There were no Punisher sequels. Certainly not for the Lundgren movie.

As for War Zone, Lexi Alexander was probably the best director for the piece. It's pretty much the Punisher as Jason, which is pretty much the depth of his character anyway. And she can actually shoot action, which means we saw what was happening versus any shakey-cam quick cut crap that passes for action nowadays.

It was an action movie that delivered on the action.

All of them are unrelated. They all have similar beginning plot points by necessity, but none of them are actually related.

I am SOOOO excited about that movie! A little sad that it means Wilem Dafoe won't be returning though!

It´s funny how we always recognize her by her voice. She could have her head bold and black skin, we´d still know it´s Julie Benz lol
