Cordelia Chase was born and raised in Sunny-D, the richest bitch at SDHS, who could go to any college she liked. So her family went broke and then she moved to LA, flukishly ran into Angel and then bumped into the visions, then bacame part demon... It's said in a season four episode that her life was controlled by Jasmine, so she could be positioned into becoming a higher power and being taken over..
How much of her life was contolled by Jasmine, and in what aspects?? I mean did Jasmine make Cordy's parents commit tax evasion, and therefor send her to LA? And also, why Cordy? I mean back in high school she was nothing special, just a ditz really, so why did Jasmine choose her to be her 'mother'?? Is this answered anywhere in any episode?

Not sure how much of Cordy's life was controlled or influenced by Jasmine but one thing is clear she was Angel's best friend, confidante to Conner
the first woman/person he connected with so yeah Jasmines gonna chose her! because Conner is part demon too, and they are the two most unlikely people
that Angel would suspect.

He is the champion for the PTB after all, so why not dupe him via the two most imp people in his life?

This is never actually answered in the show and is highly debateable, but personally I like to believe that Jasmines plan was not from a place of evil, but of love. After millenia of watching Humanity hurt and kill itself, and be hurt and killed from other entities, Jasmine tried to get the other PtB's to step in and 'help'. The beings who were 'watching' were reluctant to help more than they already did, believing we should control our own destinies. It may be a world of hate, pain and despair but it is a world of love, freedom and joy as well and that was the balance. They were unwilling to take out the negative as it surpressed the positive.
Jasmine grew to finally despise that no one would help the beings that she actually loved, so started to put into motion a plan to help them, one that meant Humanity, for a price of sacrifice and freedom, could in general have a life of peace and love without hurt and pain. She focussed on the good and thought she was doing the right thing.
Now, with this, remember Jasmine, and/or the PtB's are infinite in comparison to us. If they have the ability to manipulate us, then I think, out of love, she could have had as much a part in all of that as anything.
We could suggest that Buffy was 'called' because Jasmine manipulated the line to her, then manipulated Joyce to Sunnydale, thus meaning Cordelia was going to be shown what it was to be a heroine and start her on her own path as champion.

Or, Jasmine had no part in anything pre-Birthday and just took credit - its something to think about.

And also, why Cordy? I mean back in high school she was nothing special, just a ditz really, so why did Jasmine choose her to be her 'mother'?? Is this answered anywhere in any episode?

Did you watch 'You're Welcome'?
THATS why it was Cordelia.
A being as infinite as Jasmine would have to be aware that within us all is the power to be really good or really bad - it is entirely dependant on our choices.
Jasmine may have manipulated certain struggles to see if the Champion Cordelia would come out.
It did, spectacularly. There is not one person on this board that could justifiably argue that Cordelia wasn't a champion and that made her worthy to be the 'mother' of the being that would be our savior(in its own eyes).
