Question about episode: "Five By Five"

Okay, who remembers when Faith had Wesley in that apartment when she was torturing him? If you remember that scene, Angel came to stop Faith, but here's the problem... Angel breaks down the door and walks right into the apartment. It wasn't Faith's apartment because she beat up that guy at the bus station, took his keys, and she crashed at his place. But my question is this: how did Angel walk into the apartment without being invited in? There is probably a simple explanation, but I'm too blind to figure it out.
 
thats actualy a good question,Wesley had said earlier in that episode that the guy she beat up at the start (the creep in the black leather jacket) was alive but beat up in hospital.and the only way angel could get in would have been if he had either died,or he'd been invited in,either that or it's justr one of those things your not supposed to think about.
 
Yeah, I guess that tends to happen a lot. I wouldn't have noticed if my sister hadn't pointed it out while we were watching it. I'll try not to think about it.
 
Maybe its one of those apartments where they have a sign saying everyone welcome or like inviting or something????kinda like at the sunnydale high school
 
maybe the guy was some kind of secret demon so angel didn't have to be invited in!!!! but that did annoy me too!!! at least when he barged into kate lockley flat they explained it kind of at the end!
 
yeah, he could be like, a half demon like *God bless him* doyle. or they had a welcome mat. or it was a mistake....
Or maybe it was like the kate thing. There were two people he cared about in the room that needed his help...
 
Maybe it was because the guy who owned the apartment wasn't there, but that doesn't make sense because there was that whole deal with Angelus....and he could have gotten into Buffy's house when she wasn't home. So that doesn't work out. Damn.
 
Kate took an overdose and nearly died, angel saved her. But i thought that the reason angel could enter kate's apartment was because she was physically dead for a short time - like buffy at the end of season one, but she was revived.

Maybe the guy from the apartment died after wesley mentions him being in hospital?
 
Kate Lockley is that detective right who's farther was killed by a vamp but she blamed Angel for it and never forgave him.
