I was watching this two partner once again and i realize something
I usually thought the only ones who thought killing Angel would be a good idea where Lee, Lindsey and Lilah (LLL) but then i realized Lindsey was talking to his boss on the phone, which is Holland most likely, and his boss was telling him to kill Angel....
How can that be? They didn't want Angel dead, they needed for the prophecy? any explanation for that...

Sure, maybe Holland didn't know about the prophecy yet... but still it doesn't make much sense, he shouldve known

I don't think they knew the prophecy yet, but I don't really remember, I don't think it was until season 2 they stopped actually trying to kill Angel

Watched those two eps yesterday.

I don't think that they knew aobut the prophecy just yet. In the first half of the season they saw Angel as a 'new player'. It's not unitl the last few episodes that we see Wolfram & Hart starting to plan on turning Angel to the dark side.

That's how I see it anyway.

yes, but the senior parents were planning that since the beginning of time and the ones who saw Angel as just a new player were lindsay, lee and lilah who were just employees, not even junior partners yet... my take is Holland was a junior parent and wasn't informed of that by that time, because in Blind Date Lindsay becomes a junior parner and holland's office goes to him, so maybe they promoted holland and informed him tll then

I think I see where you are going.

Lindsey, Lee and Lilah (Why do all of their names start with L?) were trying to kill Angel off and they had NOT informed Holland about him completely yet.

Holland didn't find out until later WHO Angel was and THAT is about the time W&H changed tactics.

Very good point and I believe you are on the right track.

It's probably a mistake or something. Maybe the writers are getting all jumbled up. And even the most popular shows has multiple mistakes in their story line and episodes. (ex. Alias)

I don't think that WH read the prophecy by then, I don't think they read till after they got it back from Angel. And he stole it at the end of season 1

The last time I heard someone analyse an episode that closly was in a Star Trek mag or Star Trek chat board like this one. I agree though WH probobly didn't know yet.
