freds dead?

can someone please tell me how and why fred dies?

Fred gets sent a mystious tomb/coffin thing with this circle part that opens! She opens it and is sprayed by 'mummy' dust. Next thing we know she's coughing up blood and her organs are slowly dicapititing inside her. Her soul is eventually gone and her body is taken over by a parasite called 'Iryilla'

Have you noticed how they turn the physically weakest character of the LA team into the strongest. Also the time thing and "her" fighting skill is is phenominal.

BUt why does she have to die. I mean once cordy dies and with fred gone we only have the most annoying female on the face of the planet and an evil woman on the show. How does cordy die anyway?

Cordy dies in her coma, but in Angel's mind she comes back to help him one last time, and to share one last kiss...

No, Cordy was actually there. The Powers owed her one and gave her one last day, to get her guy back on track.

Fred died because her death would have more impact on more different levels than anyone else's--except Angel's. Sorry if it sounds cynical, but would you have felt it as much if Gunn or Wesley had bit it? And what kind of storyline would their deaths had led to? (I mean, I'm an Illyria/Wes shipper, for goodness' sake!)

Cordy dies in S5, cause when she gave birth to Jasmine she went into a coma.

But Lorne is a demon, and strength is part of that package. Fred was strong mentally and emotionally, but was the PHYSICALLY weakest character of the group.

while I'm glad they didn't do, Wes or Gunn's death would've left more of an impact on me. Fred is a character that's kinda less important and enjoyable than them. She's kinda just less magical and more intelligent willow.
