What is the difference between Mono and Stereo sound on TV?

Well, I would have said Mono= sound via 1 speaker, whilst stereo=sound via 2 speakers...ok, very simplified I know. 😉

If you are listening to music, mono separates singing on one speaker and the score or backround music on the other. Stereo has them combined for a better sound, IMO. That's all I know.
