Question bout cells in the UK

Well..I decided that I need a new sim card as soon as I get to London as this time I'm planning to stay for lobnger(yes people..beware ::evil1:: )
Basically wanted to ask which cell company has the best offer as far as pay as you go offer is considered.. I took a look at T-Mobile,Orange,O2 and Virgin and so far the last one looks the best..am I missing sth? Any help would be appreciated
 
Lot of offers floating around at the moment to attract customers. My friend told me found a link to Orange's website (through an ad) and she signed up her details and as long as she spends £15 a month she gets free weekend and evening (think its classed as post-7pm) texts.

Im on O2 "genie" PAYG scheme. I have to top up £10 a month and get 300 free texts.

As far as not going for any bundle schemes, the call/text rates are all pretty much standard. The only thing I can think of is Orange charge 12p a text, compared to the normal 10p.
 
Thanx..was also thinking bout your O2 tariff..but the thing is..calls to other non O2 cells cost 40 p a minute while in Virgin I pay 15 p regardless whetehr I call Virgin cell,landline or other cell
