In Fray they said there was a battle between slayers and demons years ago which ended the slayer line and got rid of magic would that battle be the one between Bufy and Twilight because who ever twilight is he wants to end magic. so if it is the battle does that mean Buffy will lose or if she wins it will change frays world Also does anybody think a live action fray movie or series
 
well buffy would end magic if it saved the world... bigger picture right. So like... win-loss?

I have seen speculations that indeed season 8 is intended to lead up to the battle that got rid of magic and the slayers along with it. Joss is probably trying to fuse the end of season 7 (lots of slayers) with Fray (no slayers at all for a long time, and then only one). We will have to wait and see how he does it!

I would love a Fray movie or series, and it would be a way to make a movie if the Buffy cast is unwilling, but it would also be vey expensive to make, with all the flying cars and such. So serious Hollywood money needed...
 
I think the Slayer Line has already come to a temporary end with the activation of all the Potentials... so that in itself would explain why there are no more for a long time. Buffy and Twilight agree in that they want to rid the world of demons, so it's quite likely that between them they could do it... problem is, they both consider each other as part of the enemy that needs eliminating.

Whether they actually succeed in getting rid of the demons will probably depend on whether Joss wants to do any more seasons after 8. I don't think too many people would be up for Buffy the Licensed Real Estate Agent or Buffy the Fashion Bug Store Manager.

The ramifications for Fray's timeline are unknown thus far.

Your first sentence is intriguing. Especially since it hasn't been revealed with any certainty how the Slayer line will proceed
The Slayer who, with all of her friends, fought that final battle and successfully expelled magic and everything supernatural from the earth was never absolutely identified as Buffy, so we really don't know if it will be her or not. Whoever it is, the final outcome of the battle could simply create a division in the existing time line, resulting in two or more co-existing future histories, like parallel dimensions, one of which would be Fray's time line.

I think that's kinda the whole point of this crossover. Like, holy crap, is Buffy gonna los this war? Everyone else has the same question, and there is speculation, but no one has an answer...

I personally think this big ole' battle will occur in the last couple issues of S8. Idk what's gona happen though!
