in the end of chosen the scoobies were glad that sunnydale was destroyed because it destroyed the hellmouth. Yet no one thinks about all the people that died. Dawn isn't even sad that some of her friends died. Who in sunnydale died?
some people i thought of:
Kit
Carlos
RJ
Amy
Percy?

Who else?

Yeah... I think pretty much all of the town was gone! I mean, when the bus was speeding away... there weren't any cars.

Everybody was gone. Hopefully

lots of people left like Clem, but not everyone. Clem left because he knew what was going on. I don't think people were told to get out of town because no one ever came to the Summers house.

I disagree. I think everyone pretty much evacuated. That was what Clem was talking about. No one was actually told what was going on, but everyone seemed to know to get out. I guess a few people could have stayed, but I think Joss was trying to get us to believe that Sunnydale had pretty much been evacuated.

Plus, if you remember, in "Touched" Buffy just went to a house and claimed it. This wouldn't have been so easy to do if most of the town had not evacuated already.

Good point, but the man in the house still stayed. He probably didn't leave town.
Joss probably wanted us to think that everyone had left town to give it a more happy feel that they destroyed the hellmouth.I just think that everybody leaving is unrealistic. If I lived in sunnydale, I wouldn't have left.

buffygirl, people die everyday in our world too. There's always casualities in the world of Buffy. At graduation, many innocent graduates died too. I'm certain that everyone in Sunnydale evacuated, aside from a few stubborn people. Also, Dawn doesn't really have friends. She met them in the first episode, and never spoke to them again. I think it's clear Dawn is an outcast. And buffygirl, why would you have stayed in Sunnydale?? It's empty, no jobs, no people, no electricity for the most part(as seen in Touched), and if people are taking off, I'm following because it only emphasis's the fact that something bad is going to happen.

There would be no free stuff coz everything would have been destroyed.

Gives me belly rumblings

I think pretty much everyone was out. A few people might have been left, but as someone pointed out, casualties happen. It was one of those necessary evil type things.

It's not that I'm casual (ha! no pun intended) about death. If I hear someone got killed in a suicide bombing overseas, I think it's horrible. But death on TV for no-named extras we never knew.....I don't really get all broken up about it.

Danger: There was free stuff because the scoobies went to the market to get free food and andrew and anya went to the hospital.

I think everyone was evacutated, and yeah there was free stuff, but it eveyone else was leaving town, wouldnl't you be alittle scared and want to go also, if you didn't know what was really going on i mean?

It would seem stranged and i guess i would be freaked out expecially with the power going out.

I was just trying to see if anyone had died from staying in Sunnydale. I didn't want it to become some big thing.
