This is a one time opportunity. Because it sometimes may appear that we are 'the big bad' moving/deleting/editing threads we thought this was a good way for you guys to get to know us a bit better and find that we are in fact human...well some of us!

Its a simple way, you ask us a question and we answer. Remember nothing too personal, there is just some things that should not be known by the general public.

The questions can be directed at one member of staff or all of us, but please make that clear 🙂
 
I think you guys just do a great job. Im an admin at some sites, and I know how stressful the job can sometimes get.
But I think each and everyone one of you do such a great job.
 
That's right, back in the old days of BB 'lol' Faith was around a lot, helpful to other members yet not pushy - like she is now 😉 - and had her head screwed on the right way whilst still having a wicked sense of humour. She posted across the board and well, she got noticed for all the right reasons, what more can I say and the rest is history! ::evil2::

One of the best decisions we ever made. Ok, so I'm sucking up now! 'lol'

I saw an ad on Sky One, the title had me interested, as i've always been into the whole vampire mythology. I saw the show and thought it was very cleverly done, it was humerous, I thought Xander was like Chandler, and there was a little matter of Angel...hottie 😀

Cordy: That is a very sweet post, thank you so much! And the best decision I made was to accept. Back in my Dark Slayer days.
 
Who is like the oldest mod?
Not like age, I mean, like who has been a mod for the longest period of time?
 
what was the first epi you ever watched? sowy for my questions being SO blunt ::huh1::
 
how do you all cope when most of you are on holiday? ie covering the boards and forums etc?

do you ever hire temporary mods to help out at busy times or times of holidays etc?

how and who decides on your amazing style sets?

It works out that we are never on holiday at the same time, so we each try and cover what we can, there is always at least one admin and mod around. We don't tend to hire temp mods, we are always looking for potential mods and hire them when we feel its needed.

The stylesets are a combination of myself, Buffy, Cordelia and our friend Dark Faith (a mod on lotr boards) I tend to look at the colours as does Buffy, she does some buttons/banners, and Cordelia our graphics queen does them too, as does Dark Faith. We have some great people to help us, and each time we have a new scheme its more amazing than the last!

I know that I'm pretty much the youngest mod, if you don't count Winifred Burkle... she was the RPG Manager before really being a mod. Anyway, she was a part of the staff before me. And age-wise, I'm also the youngest.

Hush was the first complete episode that I watched, and I never missed an episode since. I was too young to really be interested in the show before that.

As Faith said, we all have different times that we are away. I hardly ever go away on the holidays, so that's at least one mod around while they're away...🙂
 
FiveByFive, was noticed by the staff for her posting, and good nature, and we thought she would make an excellent addition to the staff 🙂
 
lol Thanks Faith; I didn't know that before. People think I'm good natured... I have to go tell that to everybody I know now.🙄
 
This is pretty cool...
I noticed before that some of you have talked about children. So if it isn't too personal I was wondering who was married/engaged and who has kids...
 
I'm a single girl with a cat, the only current man in my life 😀 I don't have time for a relationship at the moment and i'm cool with that. I've got a job, i'm at uni and I have all these boards to deal with.

Wesley and I have been married for 8yrs this Dec 16th, but have been together for 11 yrs now and we have 5 kids:-


Sam - 10 yrs this Oct
Ben - 8yrs
Joe - 6 yrs this Xmas Eve
Jack - 4yrs 27th Sept
Evie - our only girl, who was 8 weeks this Monday just gone. 🙂

I *think* myself and Andy (Wesley) are the only staff that are married or have kids. 😉
 
Rayne - I'm 16 and am neither married or thinking about it. No kids of course. 🙂 And there's no boyfriend or girlfriend in my life at the moment.
