There is an idea that has been in development for a while (but i'm not going tell you what it is, so don't bother asking 😛)
We are always working on new things, but it takes time to get them into action, as we like to explore every option before deciding on something. And we are all busy little bees!

Where do you all get your inspiration and ideas from? Do you look towards other boards to see their ideas or try to be original and make up your own?
There have been numerous suggestions in the season 8 thread, but as it has been said previous this is not just a staff project. I posted a summary of ideas I had to keep it going, organised so that everyone would have a seperate part to play in it but no one has commented on it.
I know there are a few members of staff here but we all lead pretty busy lives, whether its with studying/kids etc and the boards come second to all that.
carlyh - While some of our ideas to come from something we have seen on other sites we do our best to twist it into something completely different, taking the initial idea and making it our own with different features, and even at that we rarely do it. You may notice that when we find that people have copied our ideas/layouts etc we get pretty defensive as its work we have spent time on, so we try our best to ensure that we don't do that to someone else. However someone commented that this 'question the staff' thing had been done on another board, but that was news to me as I don't really have time to go to other sites, so in this instance it was an idea that someone else obviously had too. With all the sites on the net there is bound to be an instance when one or two individuals have the same idea but as they don't travel in the same circles it is not discovered. (see i'm rambling now)
I know most of my ideas tend to come at me when i'm offline, sitting at work, on the bus etc even when I was in class. Perhaps something from the tv or radio. This is one solution to why i'm so clumsy walking into things - my mind is rarely on what i'm doing at that moment.

Sure there's always the naughty side of people, especially if someone winds you up. but essentially there's be absolutely no trust if we did something like that; we trust you guys to stick to the rules, and therefore you expect the same of us.
Besides, any mods would have to answer to Admin, and Cordy is a dab hand with that horse whip 😉

Not here but on lotr boards just the other day I changed one of the head mod's av's without him knowing. He was always complaining that there was too much Orlando Bloom avatars within the staff so for a joke I changed his to an Orli one.

Lots of different shows, a few of them being CSI (not too keen on the miami one), Law and Order (and the special victims unit), Crime and Punishment, Eastenders, The Bill, My Hero, My Family, Only Fools & Horses (its a classic). I watch lots of tv 😀

My tv preferences; Buffy, Angel, Charmed, Home and Away, Neighbours. That's about all I watch; have to get Angel and Charmed recorded for me when I'm at uni, as I don't have cable, so when I'm at uni, it's my Australian soaps, and that's it

Tv as a whole is all that matters, Dancing Warlock. Besides Buffy/Angel, there's Alias, Dark Angel (even though it's over), Farscape, Gilmore Girls, Charmed, Dawson's Creek, Will & Grace, Good Morning Miami, Everwood, Without a Trace/American Dreams (just starting to get into these two), The O.C., Boston Public, and Smallville.
Buffy/Dark Angel/Farscape/Dawson's - all four are over. But this fall, there's more shows coming that I'm really looking forward to, such as: Tru Calling, Jake 2.0, Joan of Arcadia, One Tree Hill, Tarzan, Miss Match. Here's hoping they're all really good. Seriously, though, I do try to have a life sometimes.😉

I love TV... although a lot of my faves are no more... the current ones I'm into though are Charmed, Smallville, Gilmore Girls, Simpsons... And I'm interested in checking out a lot of the new shows this season.
Your just asking to be banned aren't you 😉 Its Shane West, an american actor/musician. It will be changing shortly, probably to another Shane one 😀
