Queston about blind date

[Angel's vision]

I have been rewatching season one recently and after seeing the scene in Angel's office where he is persuading this youth to testify in court i noticed that he vamps out in that scene on the original sky viewing but in the latest dvd he doesn't they must of eddited the scene out.
Is is true?

Yup, in the DVDs he simply says to him: "Then you have to face mine (demons)" and then they cut to the next scene.

Hmm whoa. Why would they edit that out? In the end, you'd think he'd show it to him anyway, seeing as he really convinced him to testify.

No this is blind date we are talking about but i can see where you are comming from cos there was a scene inside the court when Faith shows up, in that ep.
I was right then! i knew it i just wasn't sure ,but now iam, why edit that scene out? us Angel fans still remember things like these! ha ah hee hee.

I'm wondering if the events of two episodes are getting mixed up here. I haven't seen the last few eps of Angel's first season for quite a while now but i'm pretty certain that this is from Five by Five, rather than Blind Date.

As for the editing question, the simple answer is that they wouldn't edit it out, at least not without a damn good reason and i can't imagine any real reason at all in this case. Angel going vamp face to scare someone was done all the time.

However, all that said, if i'm honest i can't really remember Angel vamping out in that particular occasion, even in the original Sky One showing. I remember the scene and dialogue ...

Angel: "You don't even know what you're up against, do you? You're gonna have to face your demons sometime."
Marquez: "What if I don't want to face my demons?"
Angel: "Then you'll have to face mine."

... but i don't recall Angel ever going vamp. As i recall it he just gives the kid a really scary look, but a human scary look, if you know what i mean, lol! I really don't think that there ever was a vamp face in that scene.

this scene is def from 'Five by Five' (it's my fave S1 ep)
like The Watcher said above, i don't remember Angel ever vamping out in the scene...but i do remember the 'human scary look' i have the p on VHS, not DVD, and it's def not in my version!

I checked the transcript of Five by Five on Buffyworld... they make no mention of vamping out either.

ok guys i confused the ep's, easily done, but i "remembered" Angel does this for the kid to change his mind about testifying in court regarding the bind woman, but my memory played tricks on me, it must have been a different client that was sat in court, not the blind woman.Bearing in mind blind date came after the ep's five by five and sanctuary, so i forgot which ep it was!
I would edit the title of the topic, but i can't !
