Quickening: What was Darla Going to Say?

We all remember it hopefully: Towards the end of quickening, when they were in the car before Angel left and Darla's water broke, Darla was about to say something to Angel. Then she stopped. What do you all think she was going to say?

My Dangel heart is positive that she was going to say 'I love you.' She could have been about to say 'be careful' or something equally as "friendly. But I don't think so. The baby's soul made it so she could love her baby. I'd assume that she also loved "her boy" Angel..

I must admit, I wondered this and I'm glad she didn't say it. I love you, wouldn't have felt true to me, but the sentiment that she was feeling something was the point. Having the baby's soul was definitely affecting her at that point. It would have been something sentimental and even if soulless Darla had loved Angel(us), she wouldn't be that smaltzy.

I personally think it was something along those lines, yeah. Maybe not "I love you," but something equally as meaningful in that sort of way. Like Kana said above, the baby's soul was affecting her and Darla probably realized that, hence stopping mid-breath. The Dangel in me hopes it was genuine, though.
