Quincy Quarries in Boston

Someone from Boston shared on Reddit that they recognised the quarry Faith was referring to in season 3 when she told The Mayor the story about how she'd go swimming and jump off rocks that the older kids were too afraid to, and the name of it is the Quincy Quarries. I think it's really neat that it's a real place in Boston, it looks cool. I'm pretty jealous because the poster also said they'd been to the Quincy Quarries themselves.

Anyway just thought I'd share this cool find 🙂 I love that Faith is authentically from Boston- because of Eliza 😄

Very cool! I can imagine Faith doing some of that graffiti herself. I love that Eliza added some details to Faith's background to make the character more authentic.

Yeah I wouldn't jump either 😂- according to the website swimming and diving are prohibited, people died doing it, so it kind of adds a bit of context to Faith's story because without knowing this I just thought she was a daredevil for jumping from the highest rock but really jumping from anywhere there isn't safe lol. So she's an extra daredevil now.

The graffitti looks like it's in the rougher parts of England especially around the skate parks.

Some English teenagers will use it as a skate ramp and skate off it.

As long as the English teenagers stay away, it looks very beautiful.

It would make the perfect getaway you can put your tent up on the highest rock and sleep there, saving hotel fees. And then go for an early morning swim when you wake up.

Hopefully in the fanfic world the quarry still has water because I saw on the website they drained some of it in 1999. But it's used for rock climbing and stuff as well which is also cool 😄
