Recently after I quote someone, I get a notification, saying "New post quote", but instead of notifying me that someone has quoted my post, it notifies the post I have just made, if you understand my meaning.

For example, I just quoted a member, clicked to go to the home page and I had a new notification, but the notification showed the the post I had just quoted.

Any ideas?

I don't think I explained it properly, looking back, it notifies me when I quote someone, not when I get quoted.

For example, I just quoted you, [MENTION=2739]Darla[/MENTION], and I got a notification saying "Castnoshadow quoted Darla..."

I'm sure you're only meant to get notifications when you've been quoted.
 
I read your post, I know what you meant. It does both. That is as designed - I already checked into it when the mod was first installed.

If that's what's meant to happen, it's never happened before. I'm honestly not meaning to sound rude or stupid, but everytime I quote someone, I'll get a notification telling me a I've quoted them now?

Treat me like a 5 year old, I need super clarification!
 
Yes, and it has always been that way. Like I said, I checked when I installed it to see if there was a way to only make it display incoming tags, but there is not.

Alright, sorry D! Me and technology just doesn't work. Lol, sorry for making you feel like you were hitting your head on a brick wall (I guess you must). Thanks for your measured replies.
