Sad news: Glenn Quinn rip

It is with great sadness that we report that Glenn Quinn passed away December 2, 2002. He played the character of Alan Francis Doyle he portrayed on the Fox series Angel in 1999. The news was report on his website "GlennQuinn com" and confirmed by Tim Minear has confirmed Glenn Quinn's death on the newsgroup alt.tv.angel, under the thread "Glenn Quinn". No news on what caused his sudden passing. But he would be miss.

That certainly set me aghast.😱 This is going to put me in a gloomy mood for some time; it's the most horrible news I've heard all week, and doubtlessly will stay the most horrible for a long time. I enjoyed every moment that he had on Angel, and I only wish he had the opportunity to grace us with his presence again. I hope he knew how much he meant to so many fans. If anybody finds out how this happened, fill us in.🙁

According to his official website, it has been announced that Glenn Quinn passed away on December 3rd. He was 32 years old. No cause of death has been announced.

This was a big shock to me. His character of Doyle was very popular and the decision to axe his character was very controversial.

Glenn also found fame as Roseanne's son-in-law Mark, married to eldest daughter Becky.

My condolences to Glenn's family and friends. 🙁

Oh my Goddess! I can't believe it! I am in shock. He was my fav Angel character besides Angel! I missed him when he left the show and I missed him when Roseanne went off air and I miss him now more than ever! He's gone and he won't be back anymore!
