R.I.P. Glenn Quinn

I am so sorry to hear about this. 🙁 My sympathies to his family and friends. May he rest in peace. ::bsad::
 
I just read about his death somewhere else and am deeply saddened Glenn Quinn was great in everything he did so of course its awful to hear about his death.
I too heard that it might have been a drug overdose but who knows if thats really true or not.
 
I know that a lot of people may want to know the cause of his death, but perhaps we should focus on celebrating the life that he had 🙂
 
I agree Faith - but I think its because he was so young that we want to know how he died. 32 is WAY too young to die!

"We can confirm the death of actor Glenn Quinn who played Doyle in Angel.

Glenn Quinn, who was 32, was found at the house of a friend on Tuesday. The exact cause of his death is currently unknown.

Quinn played Doyle in the first series of Angel, until the character made a dramatic exit in the episode Hero.

Glenn Quinn spent eight years playing Mark Healy in hit TV comedy Roseanne before joining the Buffy spin-off as Angel's half-demon mentor.

Born in Dublin, he used his own accent in the show, although writer Jane Espenson revealed that Glenn often had to re-dub his own dialogue in post-production if it sounded too incomprehensible to an American audience.

As well as acting, Glenn owned a night club in Los Angeles and taught David Boreanaz to play the drums.

We'll bring you more details as we get them."

I cried when Doyle died. He really was a great one...

oh my gosh Ive been away to long and come back to find out that my fav character off Angel is gone glen will be sorley missed and I send my condolances to his family,friends and 0ther fans
 
Omg, i have been at the boards but havent checked this forum for a bit . . . its awful! I cant believe hes dead! One minute someone is there, the next . . . 🙁

According to Glenn Quinn.com, he died of a possible drug over-dose.
What a terrible waste of talent
 
My condolences to his friends and family, although they may not read this my thoughts are with them right now. He'll be sorley missed in the buffyverse and beyond.

He was wicked. Big up to Glenn!!!!

i can't believe it!!! spike lover and i were always in hope that one day DOyle may come back on Angel but that will never happen now, thats so sad, why do they all die of over doses? don't they know better? so, so sad. <shakes head and sobs>
 
I sat silently this morning,all morning,thats how upset i am,and i'm not exactly jumping in happiness now.I'm sorry if someone has already asked this,but how did he die?I'm in a hurry so i don't have time to read all the posts.it just seems a little odd that someone as young as 32 dies unless it's some kind of vehicle accident or something.I heard rumour that he OD'd,but Glenn wasn't a drug user (that I know of) so can someone please tell me what happened? and also if anyone is as upset as me,my mum thinks i'm going over the top being silent and miserable,but it's just so shocking. 🙁
