Radio Sunnydale soundtrack

That is not the CD i have (i have the US version).
The CD in the US deffinately only has twelve songs, and a different cover art (angel statue in a cemetary).

I feel like i was serriously cheated out of something.

I think that i am now off to right a letter to Virgin records / Mutant enenmy/ Fox Music.

I think buffyhelp could be getting confused with the OMWF CD, that had 23 tracks.

Is the Radio Sunnydale CD good?

I'm thinking of getting it, but I can't find it for less than $15. So how is it?

Hmm, deffinately an aquired taste, however, the more you listen to it, the more you like it.

I thought that it was a great collection of songs, however, several of them were drawn from a-typical scenes / episodes, so i dont get that same "feeling" of Buffy that i did from the first ST.

Also, there has been some confusion about Europe vs. US releases, the version I have is the US release, but if you can find a copy of a Euro-release, that looks a little better.

Song listing as follows:
Main Theme - The Breeders (?)
Stop Thinking About It - Joey Ramone
Bohemian Like You - The Dandy Warhols
Everybody Got Their Something - Nikka Costa
Key - Devics
Sound Of The Revolution - Lunatic Calm
Ballad For Dead Friends - Dashboard Prophets
Blue - Angie Hart *(co-written by Joss)
Pavlov's Bell - Aimee Mann
There's No Other Way - Blur
Prayer of St. Francis - Sarah McLachlan
The Final Fight (original score) - Rob Duncan

Hope i was helpful.

Bought it yesterday, pretty cool. Has anyone else got it?

Just one quibble with it, it says that some song (i think no3) was played in an episode called "crush, kill, destroy". Is that the american version of the episode cos everywhere i've read the episode, and on my video boxset, it's just called "Crush".

can anyone help me with that cos i'm kinda confused!

I'm in the US, and the only thing that i have ever heard for episode 5.14 is "Crush". Hmm, go figure?

~Kindred

Yeah, I think it mighta been a mistake theyve made or it mighta been a first choice for the title of the ep "Crush" and yay I'll be gettin the new soundtrack lol I read the songs thats featured on it and it looks pretty good.

It also sounds like something i once heard "I robot, you Jane" refered to once, however, none of thoes episodes are from anything previous to season five....Hmm, go figure.

There are 2 different versions of the cd.
There is an American one and a UK one.
American cover:

UK cover:
B0000DK4RF.02.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

The american version only has 12 songs on it, while the uk version has 22.

I think the UK cover is better. You can't see it so well in that picture, but it has posters of Buffy and Spike at the Sun Cinema!
