Dubious Willow Rumour: Craft Christ heard from a 'reliable' source that UPN look set to do a "Willow" series for the 2004 TV season. Alyson Hannigan is apparently attached to play the character again. The studio decided to look into the idea, once the "Faith" spin-off idea bit the dust. It won't be happening instantly but he's told by the Fall they'll be rolling on something. Given that it's the first day of Spring tomorrow in the United States, I reckon this isn't the last we'll hear about this baby.

that would be awesome, as long as at least Xander, Spike and *ducks* Dawn is in it 😛
 
Hey, I want Dawn in it too. Xander especially, but not Spike. Dust Spike already. *My turn to duck*. Plus, I've always loved Willow, so no complaints here; except for the whole Faith dealio.

Bah no more killing of characters except for Kennedy 😛

Id actually also like Andrew in the spin-off 🙂 I have come to really like that character. Its a strong character, well developed and stands on solid ground now after "Storyteller"
 
What would be cool, is if this show went on, and then eliza dushkus new show bombs, and shes brought on as a regular. A Willow show, where Faith is kinda her sidekick would be ****ing excellent
 
I agree, Faith should go to Angel, she fits in the redemption theme... She can have great interaction with both Wesley and Angel... and if you need proof four words.

I want Andrew, Dawn, Kennedy and Xander. I doubt that Spike will live through the season, but if he will, he can be on it aswell
 
i would think that they'd want spike to guest star on angel at some time in the future.. so i don't think he'll die
 
it would be very cool. The show would be a LOT more magic-centric though, as opposed to fighting. And while the magic is damn cool, I must say that Buffy's fight scenes are one thing that I've ALWAYS loved about the show,
 
Am I the only person who's unsure about how a Willow show would turn out? Both Buffy and Angel have ass kicking leads. Willow is kind of nice and cute which is great for a supporting character, but she's never been the "Let's go into battle and kick ass" type. I dunno. I trust the Whedon crew to make it good, but I don't think that Willow as she stands now would make for a very interesting lead character. Hell, even Giles would make a better lead in my opinion.
