It's kind of a toss up for me. I think as a whole, Buffy is the better show. I loved every single season. But there are some things about Angel that I love more than anything. So yeah, both are good.

For me it's better than BtVS in some parts 😛 Also Buffy has a lot of comedy, Angel has it too but it's more dramatic. Also Angel's team get REALLY great around season 3. I loved them as much if not more than the Scooby Gang!

And like some others here, I was really hesitant to watch it. Mostly because I didn't really like Angel in BtVS. He show so many different sides of himself in his own series. It's really worth it for you to see, the characters from BtVS get better(Cordy, Angel, Wes and such), and you got a couple of great new ones!

Hope you tell us what you think of it once you start watching!
 
I am quite the looker truth be told. I won't spoiler people on my personal character development, but it's awesome!

I mean look at me in my own signature here. How awesome.
 
I don't get why people didn't want to watch Angel. It is a show made by the same person who created Buffy, contains characters who appeared in Buffy, surely if your a fan of Buffy then that would have drawn you to Angel?

I liked Angel before he fronted his own show. I'd agree he got even better as a character as he came out of his shell more but even in Buffy he was interesting.

In terms of comparing both shows i'd still favour Buffy. I like the characters more in Buffy and Buffy didn't appear in Angel enough for my liking. There are so many huge moments in Angel where the added element of Buffy could have made the show even better. I won't spoil it for those people who haven't yet watched Angel. :smile3:

In all seriousness i would think it rare for people that loved Buffy not to at least enjoy and appreciate Angel. It is a little more darker sure but it holds the same principles and the same sort of stories. Plus it allowed characters like Wesley and Cordelia the chance to shine and it introduces new characters into the mix. Plus like Buffy it can be absolutely hilarious. If you haven't tried Angel, what are you waiting for?
 
It's embarrassing to admit, but I didn't want to watch Angel because I was being a very stubborn Bangel fan 😛
I heard about Darla and Connor and Cangel and I just wanted to live in 'Oblivious Land' :lmao:

But, I can definitely say now that my love of both Angel and Buffy, individually as characters and shows extends much more beyond Bangel 🙂

Me too. I've watched first season of Angel with a pleasure. But when I've read about all the things that are going to happen I just didn't want to watch it, loyal to Buffy. I've watched it after 2 years after or so, but still, Buffy is my fav.

Heh. Heh heh heh heh heh. This is very telling. Heh. 😀 Maybe you should become more open-minded, my dears, you never know what 'ship you may grow to love. 🙂 It's not as though there's some bangel manual that says you can ONLY love Bangel, there are tons of fantastic Buffy-centric/Angel-centric 'ships out there to dive into. 😀

I'm starting to love Ats even more than I love Btvs... The characters are more likable, I love ALL of the 'ships, every season is fantastic, W&H is brilliant, etc. 🙂
 
I like what I hear! 🙂 Maybe Angel really will stop being lame in Angel... I hope so. 🙂 I'm going to try to start watching it in the end of this month, I'll keep you updated.

yeah, the blond hair was pretty iffy... I don't think I would have minded the color if the cut was different. Luckily, it's only like that for a few episodes.

Mikaela you're only 23, that's not old! I'm 20, and I don't consider myself to be old. 😛 In fact, I often still feel/act like a kid. 😉

Lyri, another member here or "Torn-in-my Bloody-Side" as I affectionately call her, LOVES CK and pretty much everything he does so I spend a good chunk of my week listening to her go on and on and on about him lol

I do love that scene though, his voice is just *GUH* although there is a reason why I am so specific, I really don't like the long hair look on men. That may or may not be part of the reason why I haven't caught leverage yet :X3:

Yes, his voice is so sweet! I think I would have reacted much like Cordelia if I had been there. 😉 ah, i understand the dislike of long hair on guys. I actually would agree with you in most cases, but for some reason I don't mind it on CK. I think he pulls it off. idk he's just so buff and such a tough guy on Leverage, I just love him. 😀

I know I'm gona make a fool of myself saying this...oh well! 😉

The thing about long hair on guys, for me, is that I love running my fingers through a man's hair (anyone comments on this THEY DIE! :evil🙂 but when it's long your fingers get caught in the tangles! LOL Like Willow in Dopplegangland!

Other than that, CK ticks all the boxes (sw)
