1. Angel/Angelus. Loved him as a villain, and, strangely, my favorite parts with Angel involve him taking care of Fred when she was insane.
2. Darla
3. Drusilla
4. Spike

1. Angel/Angelus - complex, dark, brooding, petty, pure malicious evil... all wrapped into a dynamic duo of a character. + smokin' hot in my opinion, what more could you want in a vampire?

2. Drusilla - nut nutty nut nut, I just love Dru to bits. She's scary but widelyentertaining at the same time. "Do you love my insides? The parts you can't see?"

3. The Master - campy, cheesy... perhaps, but just good ol' fun. A real old-fashioned bad-guy with the creepy look to boot. He's got lots of great lines and there's just something catching about him, baddie though he is

4. Pre-soul (or rather before season 6) Spike. Spike was a great character, thrilling in most scenes he was in to start.

5. Darla - I really love the character and the dynamic she has with both the Master and Angel/Angelus.


Honorable mention to Kralik, he was gonna make number 5 but it felt more belonging to Darla. But Kralik was a great and scary character that fascinated me even if it only was for one episode.
 
1) Spike. -----Yeh, I know. Big shocker there.

2) Angel/Angelus -----He's the man. Or . . . the vampire.

3) Dru -----She's so crazy that it's awesome.

4) Vamp Willow -----Totally hot. I just can't help myself.

5) Vamp Xander -----Ditto on Vamp Willow's totally hot comment. Still can't help myself.

#1 spike. of course it's spike. my favourite character in the buffyverse (followed very closely by wesley and giles). he's an incredibly layered character--of all the vampires, i think he retained the most of his humanity when he was changed. i love him as william and i love the william inside of spike. he is brilliantly complex and nothing touches me more than his character arc and his love for buffy. plus, james marsters is one of the only men i find attractive haha.

#2 angel. although i'm mostly a spuffy shipper, i love angel with buffy. i love what buffy did for angel. angel is so brooding and intelligent. i love his darkness. i love how he has to surround himself with people like buffy and cordelia and fred and wesley in order to keep himself in the light. i love how he's so awkward around people.

#3 holden. "conversations with dead people" is just a fantastic, brilliant episode.

#4 drusilla. she beautifully, tragically insane. i love everything that comes out of her mouth.

#5 vamp willlow. "i'm so evil and skanky. and i think i'm kinda gay."

What about AtS S5 Spike? Still soulful, but snarky.

lol ok, Spike seasons like 1-4 of Buffy and then season 5 of Angel. Those other two years shall not be named ;)

1. Angel/Angelus (Angel is my favorite character of all time and Angelus is my favorite villain of all time, but I don't think I should really split them into two different ranks in a list about favorite vampires, since they have the same demon, which is what makes a vampire a vampire.)

2. Drusilla (She's the best kind of insane, and she has the remarkable ability to make me like Spike when she's onscreen with him, even though I can't stand him most of the time.)

3. Darla (Absolutely fascinating character.)

4. Penn (Probably my favorite one-episode character of either series.)

5. The Prince of Lies (I would have put Vamp Willow in this slot, but she's already turned up in lots of other people's lists, so I thought I'd give some love to the Prince of Lies, who cracks me up to the point of having difficulty breathing every time I watch "Why We Fight".)

1. Angel/Angelus- One of the most well-written characters i've ever seen. The emotional depth, the tragic story, the well written romantic story between him and Buffy. I really don't know what more to say.
2. Vamp Willow- Overall, just a cool character. Alt. Dimensions are always an intrest to me.
3. Drusilla- Once you get past the child-like serial killer part, she's another well-written character. Not to mention that thing she does where she hypnotizes you with her fingers always disturbs me a little bit. Although, there are times that i've tried to hypnotize my friends by doing that...
4. Spike- Ok, i'm just gonna say this straight out. I'm not a Spuffy fan. I like Spike as a character, but other than that, Spuffy romance stuff just...i can't explain it. I just have a gut feeling that says "Don't like it!". Other than that, I found Spike's character had alot of depth, sorta like Angel. Granted, i haven't watched Seasons 6 or 7 yet, but i think i'll grow to like this character more.
5. The Master- Wow, turning a little kid into one of the vampire leaders. Evil with a capital E.
