Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) - 8/10
Nothing but pure 80's B movie fun! 😁

The Glass Wall (1953) - 7/10
An enjoyable little film noir. The chase scene at the end was quite well done I thought, as I truly wasn't sure what the outcome would be.

Dr. Terror's House of Horrors (1965) - 7.2/10
A very enjoyable British horror anthology film. The stories were mostly good (except that disastrous second one) and the last two stories were my favorites.

The Pelican Brief (1993) - 4.5/10

Pretty much a mess of a film. Gets little bump because Washington and Roberts are both solid. Plus all the chasing around and action does make it a bit of a guilty pleasure😛Its funny how long the film spends trying to explain its title😀

Dr. Terror's House of Horrors (1965) - 7.5/10

Diamonds are Forever (1971) - 5.5/10

A lack lusture Bond with a baffling plot, made worth it by the antics of Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd, a decent Bond girl, locations and another stellar theme. Charles Gray is my least favourite Blofeld.

Hokum (2026) - 8/10

Really entertaining black comedy, horror with some mystery elements worked in late on. Adam Scott was perfect casting as the cynical deadpan writer. It does get a bit crazy with all the stuff happening near the end, but a lot of stuff was suspenseful and made sense because of the theme of the film. A very niche film which hit just right for me.

Caddo Lake (2024) - 7.5/10

Turns out Dylan O'Brian can act shock horror 🤣 Always there for a bit of Lauren Ambrose too. This is a slow burn, but worth sticking with. Some solid drama, and takes an intriguing genre twists near the end.

A decent film. Worth the watch.

Sons of Steel (1988) - 8/10
I saw this film title come up while browsing through an online retailers website. It looked like something I would enjoy, so I did some searching and I was able to find it and watch. Holy smokes was it awesome! One of the funnest movies I have ever watched. Needless to say, I ordered the blue ray to add to my media collection.

I'd been meaning to watch this for the longest time. Did not realise Ang Lee directed! Wonderful film.

Children of Men (2006) - 10/10
Had this one on my must watch list for a long time and I finally got to watch it for the first time. An absolutely riveting film from start to finish for me. Had a visceral experience with this one too, much like I did with City of God. This is one of the best films I have ever seen.

The Sting (1973) - 8/10
A ton of fun, and very well executed!

Gorgo (1961) - 7/10
Great little Kaiju film.

711 Ocean Drive (1950) - 6.8/10
A pretty solid film. Didn't wow me but I didn't hate it either.

It was pretty goofy, but funny. And suprisingly Charlize Theron and Seth Rogan actually had good chemistry together.

Twisters (2025)

A pointless standalone sequel to the original. Entertaining enough, but I wouldn't watch it again. I'd rather watch the 1996 film which I enjoy. And it clocks in at 2 hours, which wasn't needed either.

The homoerotic Basketball scene hits me every time!😆

A View to a Kill (1985) - 4/10
A catchy theme tune and Grace Jones are about the only standouts. Otherwise it’s one of the most forgettable Bond films. The plot is very thin, and dull, feels more like a storyline from a Dick Francis novel.

@Mr Trick - Yes agreed, disappointed she didn't get a cameo. The only real reference to the 1996 film is 'Dorothy'. I did read somewhere that Helen tried to get a sequel off the ground back in 2020 but nothing came of it?

And it's possible for the 2025 film she had a falling out with Steven, thus why she didn't appear.

Absolutely bonkers Made for TV Michael Douglas and Ben Gazzara starring movie🤣 The twists are so baffling but crazy (“it couldn’t have been his voice on the phone he’s a mute”😆). There’s choice scene involving someone dying from 🐝 too!
